Hey probally just spitting in the wind with this question but figured yall could have some idea or thought. Im picking up a 1992 volvo 240 wagon and im a big power hungry type person and need a nice beefy alt that can perform well and pump over 100amps of charging power My problem is YOU CANT FIND ANY alt's over 100AMPS of power that fit onto the mounting spot, any type of alt anybody knows of that would fit or someone that could custom make something to fit my application. Gave up on the sedan and just put a bosch 100amp in it, worked ok just enough amperage for my needs atm. Would really appreciate your input on this foreign car issue.

I say the 15 sealed be very close to the loudness as the 12 but sound lots of better deeper and punchy bass just what you need in a small cab

I disagree both subs will give you good output and i think the icon will sound lot better then the ssd, The output varies on the vehicle it's going in. Some vehicles dont achieve very good spl numbers. Just because somebody hit a 143 in a trunk car dont mean your trunk car will be a 143 might be a 136 or lower...all about the vehicle the sub will be in to get the most out of the driver.

Seal those holes from the backseat to trunk so your cab can be sealed!!!

I ran a loc in a cobalt it worked fine but YOU HAVE to splice every speaker on your deck to get rca signals you cant just splice one speaker. THE least amount is 2speakers to tap into not just one. I say just say redo your LOC and tap into every speaker if you want to be cheap. ...Or you can get a new deck for better sq and LOT BETTER bass which would be the best option for the long run.

I say check the wiring on the sub you ran the wires for the speakers on the amp weirdly i usually do 1 far left and one far right not 2wires close to each other in the middle. Idk if you get what im saying but just my little input when it comes to troubleshoot problems. If the sub is wired wrong still it will still play so i say check the wiring load on the sub.

Single xcon 15 in a sealed box if you want to save space!!!!! HEARD they are loud sound hell of good aske Sirlance, He still talks about his 15inch xcons(Sealed box setup) till this day.

..I have to bl 12's in the trunk with metal behind the seat's loud as chit for sealed off from the cab. One 12 inside the cab will rock the crap out of that truck. One 15 i would say if you want to get the loudest out of your space if you can spare 3.5-4.0cubic feet.

Well i just ordered a j3 32gig see how it goes and it doesnt have wifi little miss conseption. New sony handycam camcorder might take a video and see how it is. ..going from a 2nd gene ipod nano 2g, to a 32gig supposly BEST "Sound quality mp3" on the market ill see about that. Compare sq with my friends ipod touch same song same headphones.

um..turn the gain up more gain will make it louder at lower volume levels on the Hu all i got to say.

ok....be cheap been their done that. Rather pay the extra for a nicer sub just what i would do specially a ssa sub little suckers are amazing! Where can i get a new 15" ICON for $229.
