  1. I've been wanting to try one for quite some time, funds don't allow it though at the moment. Try it out and let us know how you like it. What sub/s is he powering with that Warhorse?
  2. I bet you could fit 2 10"s back there if you really tried
  3. I'd say tune between 32-36, but that's just my preference. Aero ports will probably be your best friend on this build since you want to stuff 2 15s ported in a honda trunk. I also recommend you contact Bromo, he designed my enclosure as well.
  4. looking good, I think you should take 'er on out to the show!
  5. Xcon, Zcon, BTL, RE XXX come to mind if you want to run that amp @1ohm. Icon, BL, Q, SX would be good @2ohm. What's the budget like? Electrical?
  6. I would wire that SAX to 1ohm, not much reason to wire it to .5 or 2 on the Xcon imo
  7. building a box out of spare mdf for mine
  8. tuned in, I like the design
  9. Buy 'em and try 'em, nobody can really tell you what will work. In theory, that alt with 3 Deka 9a31s will be plenty but real world testing will be the only way to say for sure. For reference - 4300w @ 12v = 358a and 4300w @ 14.4v = 299a

Well done, been wondering about this myself. Can I recone a Z15 v1 with these new v2/v3 parts?
  12. big 3 1st, it's cheap and you can do it yourself

So, more like a discount than a sale huh?
  15. figured as much, was just hoping to get a bit of solid info. It's hard to get a decent answer from any of these companies too. They usually just want to tell you they offer a superior product but don't want to tell you why.
  16. Sorry for the this vs. that shit but I would like to know if there is any/much difference between these two products. I'm in the market for 2 new batteries and these 2 brands are fairly similar in price and within my budget. I'm wondering if one or the other is superior, I know Kinetik makes a good, quality product but have no experience with Shuriken whatsoever. If anyone has experience with both or just perhaps knows something about them and could shed a little light here, I would greatly appreciate it. I'm also opening a poll here so if you could vote AND give a short explanation WHY you voted for whichever brand that would also be helpful. This is also for similarly rated batteries (ex. Shuriken BT100 compared to Kinetik khc2000 both have an Ah of right about 100) If it helps, I will be replacing under hood battery and adding one in the back.
  17. What are your goals for this system? What kind of music do you listen to? What's the budget? Have you performed/plan to perform any electrical upgrades? Is this a single/extended/crew cab truck? Is that 1.78 cubic feet per sub or for both? Is it a ported enclosure? Will your console enclosure be sealed or ported? We need alot more information to be able to help you.
  18. I would deifinitely suggest a HO alt. and a couple batteries if you want to get the most out of the amp and especially if this is going to be played for extended periods of time.
