Here's a couple quick updated shots of Maude, she's 11 months old now. And here's a couple of our youngest puppy Adolphus. He's right at 6 months old now and sweet as can be. Here's a quick one of yours truly lying in the floor with the dogs.
  4. I'm anxious to see what they do with a lower tune.

  10. Those Zcons are going to beat the piss out of that Scion. That's a good lookin' dog you've got there, reminds me of a rednose I had a few years ago.
  11. Do this, you've probably got a wire shorting out somewhere.
  12. I have purchased 2 refurbed Sundown amps from Chris at db-r. Great prices, great service.

liljestrand is correct, it may be slightly easier to understand now. This is probably the single best upgrade you can do in this hobby. It's cheap and easy on most vehicles.
  14. Welcome to SSA! I think you made a good choice and will be very happy with the Q.
  15. It should be louder, I don't think he's talking about that. I think he was referring to your power calculations.
  16. I believe the leads are sandwiched between the spiders rather than sewn down to them.
  17. Sundown, Audioque, Kicker, JL, DD, Cactus, Stetsom, Soundigital, Crescendo, MMATS, DC, Incriminator Audio to name a few. There are plenty of others and these are in no particular order.
  18. Nice pics, looks good
  19. I'm not very familiar with the USACi rules and such, do you need to stay below the seat or window line for SB classes? If you're going to change the alt yourself, I would suggest that you go ahead and pick up the A/C Gasket kit as you're going to have to take the compressor completely out of the vehicle and undo some of the manifolds to do so. The gaskets are not reusable and you must use new ones (the closest place that had the gasket kit was 100 miles round trip, thankfully we had another vehicle available to go pick them up while the Caliber sat jacked up). You'll need a couple of cans of 134a refrigerant and some gauges if you decide to recharge the system yourself, or you can go to a dealership or shop and have it recharged for about $75 or so. These are two main points that we didn't foresee and luckily had the resources to get it back together and on the road the same day. So before you start tearing it down, be sure to have the gaskets and a plan for recharging the system. I'll write you out step by step instructions (to the best of my memory) in a bit.
  20. Does your Caliber have the 2.0 4 cylinder with A/C? Will you be competing with this setup? The dimensions of his Caliber box are 38Wx20Dx18H I believe. Here are the first 2 steps in the process of changing the alt on this vehicle.
  21. You should cross the border and have another Mike. Happy Thanksgiving to all.
  22. Nice start, keep it up. Do I spy an old '80s model Jeep Grand Wagoneer? I love those things.
  23. I have condensation in my vehicle all the time.
