  1. Sounds like fun. I'm about 3 hours from there, I might be able to make it.
  2. Vagina Dentata! It's tomorrow now, where's the goods?
  3. Maybe a pair of 10s.
  4. SA-12 rms is 600 although there have many people running double or triple rms. Check out Sundown's win thread in their section here.
  5. db-r is having a clearance sale on the refurbished SAE1200 from Sundown, that would work great, they also have some SAZ 1000Ds too for bit more. This is probably the cheapest way into a really good amplifier with a warranty. Audioque sells their 1200D for $249 new I think and wouldn't be a bad choice.
  6. They'll be fine on 250 each, that's what we ran on my brother's setup for a few weeks while waiting for his DC alt, they really come alive though when you put 600-700+ on them though. I would do the pair of 10s, you could get them for under $250, run them on the power you have available right now and upgrade to a bigger amp later if you felt the need to.
  7. more cone area, more power and more xmax
  8. The Skar VVX12 subs are very nice for the price point. My brother runs 2 of them and they get pretty loud and sound good doing it. I doubt one Skar 12 will be louder than a pair of RF 12s on more power, but I think you will be impressed by what one will do in the proper enclosure. Have you thought about running a pair of the VVX-10s?
  9. This box is less than 3 cubic feet total? For most 15" subwoofers, you're going to want at least 3-4 cubic feet and then add the port and subwoofer displacement. The port/sub will probably take up another cubic foot or so. Your total internal volume should be somewhere in the range of 4-5 cubic feet probably.
  10. Certainly not in taco bell's burritos.
  11. Great score for a dual 10" setup.
  12. Good luck, let us know how it goes.
  13. Looks good for being 30+ and under $2k. I like it. I think it deserves some tint now.
  14. That looks fantastic, people will definitely hear that thing coming across the water.

Leave and go get yourself some kabob fixins and some beer.
  20. The subs will share the 1000 watts, each one seeing approximately 500.
  21. Looks great, I might have to try that rustoleum myself.
  22. Looks good n stout good job, let's see some more progress.
