That's always good, I can already foresee some sort of surgery or sudden death of my puppy, she eats EVERYTHING, anything that fits in her mouth is usually swallowed immediately, rocks, sticks, clamshells, horseshit, bottle caps, etc.
  4. The VW is gonna be loud as shit. iirc these cars didn't get very good mpg to begin with, this thing is gonna drink some gas now I guess you have to take the bad with the good eh.
  5. He said he had a T1000bd, not T1500bd. His amp probably never pulls more than 120 (conservative) at most and I highly doubt a T1500bd could ever pull close to 250 amps (probably not even 200) in a real world setup. DC Power also makes more than just 275-320a units. Please pay more attention to what you're reading and stop posting misinformation. That said, a good HO alternator will definitely remedy your voltage issues To the OP Sorry, I know this post did not pertain to you, in your case, I think I large kinetik would help but I doubt it will fix your problem. If you add the battery and turn the gain down, it might work out for ya. If you really want to keep your voltage up in the 14s though while giving your system a good workout, you'll likely need a HO alternator. The nice thing about upgrading your alt is that if you get a good one such as DC Power and get a fairly high amperage unit like a 250 or better, you probably won't need the extra/upgraded batteries on your current system.
  6. That's gonna be a big ass enclosure, should sound great and be very loud though if you can find the room. What amp/s will you be running to power them?
  7. Nice work. Now let's see this Blazer.
  8. Well, noone can say for sure but you should be alright with those minor upgrades. The only way to know for sure is to install it and see.
  9. Moving a good bit of air. I'm with Watts, let's see them woofas.

  18. Looks like a lot of fun, thanks for sharing.
  19. this is a much better forum anyway
  20. For some reason, there are still lots of people, some of whom should know better (shop owners/installers and such) that just keep telling people that they need a capacitor. Not that this has anything to do with you and your setup, just something I've noticed alot of lately. I've heard it numerous times, so many people still believe in 'em, it's sad really.
  21. You'll post 'em now mister! <----My best Tackleberry impression.
  22. I loves me some squash.
  23. Maybe johnecon2001 still has the Sundown SD1v1 10 or 12. Good deal on a better sub imo. It's worth a shot, I would definitely rather have one of these than an hfi series sub.
