Yah, that is correct... all the ratings are very conservative to the point where they are still met at 12.8 volts. COOL....Thats why i love this forum and Sundown Audio products,Learn something new everyday................

why would both power and protect be on?

received a replacement 1200d over a month ago.its been installed about a month.i set the gains with dmm and never play my system hard usually only play to and from work.turned it on this morning,and no sound.so,i got out the car to check my amp,and noticed the power and protect lights are both on.haven't done much testing yet besides disconnecting the rca's and sub wires to find both lights still on....any suggestions as to where i should try troubleshooting this problems?thanks in advance
