  1. ya im in the same phase also so fuse wire going from alternator to posterminal on battery with stock alternator yes or no? if yes what to fuse the wire, or what the alternator pushes etc.
  2. Thanks Its tight behind the seats- i will have to actually see tomorrow it wouldnt get too hot behind the seat with no air flow back there ? also looking for a 4 channel amp to push 100 rms at 4 ohms any suggestions looking for under 150 if possible?
  3. dont like photobuckets new setup but here are some pics pics of sub fitment 2 of the big 3 Chasis Block wire close inbetween some test fits of amp with seat all the way forward seat all the way back the gap between floor and seat/amp need some ideas on how to mount this under the seat its gonna be a PITA

  5. ^thanks got a few orders coming in ordered a fiberglass roller, resin, and mat from uscomposites grills and screws from madiosound started working on big three today will post pics tomorrow cut my finger nail with the pvc cutters( was using them to strip the wire) OUCH!!!!) i got bat to chassis chassis to block dont have a fuse block to make the run the alternator to pos terminal got to order wire still but still got more than a week left on box gonna try to work on mounting the amp tomorrow underthe seat gonna be a tight fit also need to order some 6.5s yup no pics again i have been slack but if i dont type down what i did i will forget will try to post pics tomorrow if i get my camera back

  7. really i live about 45 min south but i was there wensdsay also dam i am in myrtle beach all the time actually i am about to get chewed out because of what i did up in myrtle beach do you come to myrtle alot?
  8. this is the way the company i work for does it 12 employees so a big difference but same principle we pay fedeal taxs on the payroll everyweek and state we do the month before so we pay for march tax on march 1st and payroll wekk may1-7 we will pay fed taxes on 10th when we get back in the point about this is if you do owe money you wont have to find money at the end of the year to pay it best thing to do is talk to your accountant or go get an accountant and he/she can go over it with you and see whats best for you good luck

  10. alright ya CCX65 was a link that soap box posted above from Crescendo Audio ya i plan on spending around 200-300 for sound deadning. guess ill stop by bustbuy next week and see what i like appreciate the help
  11. well i really haven't listened to any 6.5 most people around here just do subs and unhook speakers but not my cup of tea ya was looking for 500 could go more- looking for some sq not really trying to get loud with it just trying to balance it with the bass a little first time in this so not quite sure whats good and whats not CCX65 what do those run 80 watts rms that website didnt say
  12. range around $500 for amp and both sets of speakers well i got stock 6x9s in front was thinking about changing them out with 6.5 components heard 6x9s aren't to good any opinions and in the back i got 6.5 and want to upgrade to 6.5 coaxil for subs i am installing 3 sa8 right now its in the build stage and pushing them with sae1200 wired up to 1.33 ohms any suggestions on what brands/amp 6.5 vs 6x9s was looking at polk audio db651 for back and db6501 for components up front thanks kevin

  15. dont have any more pics right now but i tested the cubic feet got around 1.5 before subs alright should be perfect got to go buy more fiberglass keep looking pics should be here in a few days with wood connected to mdf still trying to get an idea for a grill for theses
  16. pics from last night and this morning finiishing up flush mount rings finished messy work area some mat Last night cut a hole and started fiberglass ring terminal in How thick the fiberglass that i cut out 1/4" alright and another layer on the mdf for the terminal Hopefully i will get the wood connected to the bottom some time this week. got to get some more fiberglass only a a little bit left still got to try to figure something out to make a grill over theses the 10" metal ones i posted before wont fit not enough room any idea on grill i like the metal bars but they dont make any for 8" :puzzled: :popcorn:

  19. i ordered a 1 x Sundown Audio SAE-1200Dv2 and this is the picture and it just says d not v2 was wondering if it was the same thing or i got sent one of the older ones thanks kevin
  20. Making some flush mount rings and fiberglass pretty sturdy i can stand on it and it holds me it flexs just a little so im thinking 2 more layers and ill be good
  21. just got back from working i can stand on the fiberglass now that should be good right? also will post some pics of the process i got when i get back my camera back i left it in the shed i was working at i know stay tuned

  23. i saw a link to a page yesterday that recommends what battery to choose for what wattage you are using does anybody know that link? i need to purchase a batter for my new system
