  3. when you set the gains on your amp the bass knob will turn it up to whatever your gain is on your amp it doesnt just overide the amp and turn it all the way up its so you dont have to go adjust the gains every 5 second if you dont want it that loud right then what i do is set the gains on my amp with an o scope and leave it there then just use the bass knob to adjust the power going to the subs

  5. i want to have a test bench that i can test subs and amps and speakers on maybe even one that i can test how many true rms watts an amps is i have an extra head unit and some speakers i can hook up and a couple amps that need testing i just dont want to pull out my system to test them. how would i go about setting up a test bench? what do i need to set it up if someone has one can you take a video of it and show how you hooked yours up? please and thank you

  8. my friend has a 92 ford taurus with a 130 amp alternator and wants to upgrade his system to a audiopipe 15001d is his electrical sufficient enough for that amp or would he need a second battery in the trunk

  10. ill probably go with one port in the middle just so it vents right the amp rack is gonna do a v down to the middle to clear the port more freely and so i can put a second amp in if needed when i start ill post a build log its might be awhile though cause i have to buy a new video camera drop my last one in the lake when i was wakeboarding so that gonna be some money i think i will wait to start the build till i get everything in the mail anyways so i know what i have to work with.

  12. i have a question about the box do you think i should do one port like on shakes box except for my subs will be on the same side as the port or a port in the middle or split the box and do 2 ports one on each end
  13. do you think just one 6.5 in each door would be good enough then, i really dont have a budget just buying a little every pay check i have my amp and extra batt and all my wiring and head unit already im ordering the subs next check

  15. ok thanks thats exactally what i wanted to hear my trunk is perfect for 2 15 and a good size amp rack and batt bank batt bank is going in the spare tire well and amp rack is going to be built over it im going with 4 sets of rockford power 6.5s 2 in each door i have an alpine head unit and am ordering a power pack for the front door speakers what rockford amp would you suggest for the back 4 6.5s there rated at 75 rms each

  17. i am ordering 2 15 incriminator audio lethal injections my amp is a T1500-1BD my max box specs are 40 wide x 17 tall x 25 deep if i build a box to those specs it will be 8.11552 cubes without port or sub displacement. is that big enough and im going with slot ports probably 7 x 15.5 is that enougn port area

  20. which would be louder 2 12 ia lethal injections or 1 15 ia death penalty both on 1600 rms in a 92 ford taurus in about 4.5 cubes tuned to 32hz aero port
  21. i have a powerbass asa1500d 1500 rms at 1 ohm i clamped it at 1603 rms without clipping so which would get louder on that power an icon 15 or an xcon 12
  22. i looked at the kickpanels already but id rather fiberglass the door panels i had kickpanel in the car i had before i bought this truck and i had to replace speakers three or four time cause my friends would hit them with their feet all the time
  23. i know what you mean fi is the shit i had 2 18 btls in a wall on 2 sundown 3500ds and it was slapping definetly the loudest i ever heard i was the first in my town with fi subs i was thinking about going with rockford 6.5 i heard them and they sound amazing so the 5.25 should sound good too
  24. i was thinking rockford fosgate power 6.5s 2 sets of them fiberglassed in the door panels powered by my apline headunit with the alpine powerpack i can get them for 90 a pair so if anyone knows of better for cheaper or the same price them let me know
