  1. What's your voltage dropping to?
  2. Is the sub output enabled on the HU?
  3. Sound travels man. I don't think port placement is going to help prevent your system being audible from a distance with the windows down. You might try tuning higher if anything, since lower frequencies travel further if I'm not mistaken... Or you could get some headphones.
  4. Personally I'd cut holes in the walls and glue the mids in there.
  5. Perhaps give this a read? You can use a DMM to get an idea of your source signals voltage...More than likely there's no reason to go past half on the gain. What is your amp grounded to?
  6. He's a good guy.
  7. So it's pretty much a beefier 270xp? have you dyno'd the 270xp?
  8. Details on this please?
  9. Glad everyone was alright... Looks like the speaker terminals ripped off the PCB on the amp? Damn.
  10. In for pics. Also...How are you going to wire up all 4 amps?
  11. I filled mine with expandable foam. The flapping noise was annoying and in concept it's better. Less pressure escaping. Just pop the rear plastic interior pieces off and spray foam in each vent opening. Pic of when I did mine: image You can also get aftermarket covers for the exterior, or grab a pair off an escalade...
  12. You can't bridge more than two sundown amps together. Gain matching all 3 separate amps will be a pain. What voicecoil configuration are your subs? You might be able to run two amps bridged @ .7ohms. Not really advised as both amps would be running at something like .3ohms which would probably make them smoke.

  14. http://www.delcity.net/store/Crimping-Tools/p_229.a_1 I use: http://www.delcity.net/store/Solderless-Connector-Crimping-Tool/p_10383.a_1 with a big hammer. The handheld ones are nicer though.
  15. They've just been released so there's not alot of reviews on them. However Jacob from sundown audio designed them so they're surely decent.
  16. Looks awesome so far man.
  17. SAE line is made in china. SAZ is made in Korea by a respectable build house. SAZ is indeed better.
  18. I would save up and get a SAZ series amplifier. 1 ohm shouldn't be an issue daily depending on your electrical. Under 1ohm is when it gets kind of hairy depending on the amplifier.
  19. Extension cords is where it's at.
  20. Pretty sure that was already stated like 5 times. People might steal your stereo since you advertised it. Now it's the 6th time. movie theater is no where near where i live. lol I'm sure people who break into cars at movie theaters really care where you live...
