  6. Well if xs made a a vcm for my truck I'd get that but i dont know any other way to drop it. I haven't had this alt in during warm weather yet either because it doesn't get above 20s too often during the winter here so it might come down some.
  7. Thanks for the links. They helped a lot.

  9. seems kinda high thought xs batts were only supposed to be charged at 14.9 max?
  10. so if its pcm controlled i cant do anything?
  11. since i put in my DC 270XP the charging voltage likes to sit high at 15.0-15.3. how can i adjust the voltage or lower it to around 14.5-14.8?
  12. yeah alot of mono amps come with 2 sets of terminals just so you dont have to cram multiple wires into one terminal. bass knob adjusts gain on the fly pretty much and the remote gain knob wont go past what the gain is set to on the amp.
  13. thanks. answered my own question also lol.

  19. after idling it usually is around 15.0-15.2
  20. Thats cold. Ive had the alt in about 2 weeks. Itll go to 15.0 if its warm and its sitting idle for a few min.It takes a while to get my truck warm up here though this time of year. I havent had any problems so far though.
  21. Voltage at idle is usually between 15-15.4 Its the alt.
  22. So in my next build I'm going to be running around 3500 watts probably a bc3500. For my current electrical setup i have a dc 270xp alt the big 3 and a d5100r in the front. Voltage @ idle is 15.2v. If i run 2 runs of ofc 0ga to a deka 9a31 in the back then one 2ft run of 0ga from the batt to amp is it going to be enough to to keep me above 13v for the most part or will i need a second 9a31 in the back. I plan on getting a second one later on anyway but would it be necessary? Thanks.
