Why would it be over kill for me ?

so what's the big thing about the pioneer dex-p99rs i see it's so high in price i might save up some for one of these if there really all that.

Yeah i was wondering about to. my eclipse has a built in crossover with a high and low pass filter it even has a db slope and ssf for my door speakers and subs

yeah i am looking for a double din dvd player that has built in nav and bluetooth. i want it to play mp3 cd's and even has a usb port for a usb flash drive as well. i like it to be a 5v deck with 3 rca output's for my front and rear speakers and even my sub. i like to be able to control all my bass and trebles from each of my door speakers. i even would like it to have sub control with a custom ssf and a db slope for all my door speakers and even my sub's like my eclipse has. and most of all i want it to have a built in sound processor and eq as well,

A list of features you want in the new unit would be helpful. oo this a tough one i don't even know what they have in the newer decks. right now i own a eclipse cd5030 which i had ever since it first came out so what every new they came out since my deck came out with i am not even sure about. but here a list of stuff i like to have if there anything else better out there you guys might know let me know. bluetooth usb port subcontrol bass , treble high and low pass filter's front , rear and sub control rca jack's built in eq with a built in sound processor a dot matrix screen but i can pass on it if anything it's just something i like to have that is on my eclipse deck other then that i am not even sure what else they have out there

Can any of you help me out. i'm looking at getting a new head unit for my 2001 kia sportage and im not sure what to get. my budget is $300 and i don't mind buying a used deck either as long as its in great shap some scratches are fine as long as there not deep. i'm leaning more to a sq deck with a built in sound processor. i wont be useing the built in amp on the deck since i have a 4 channel amp

Sounds like a great plan there alot of people who can put a box together but they can't come up with spec's of the box. Hope this does happen because i know people who pay for somthing like this.

I already try all the auto part stores and even the dealership and none of them carrey alternator parts just the stock alternator its self.

Hi everyone have a question. i have a custom built 180amp alternator that i bought online. and im looking for parts for it since the place i bought it from dont wanna help me and wanted to ask if anyone knows a place online that sells parts for alternators. i look up on google and had no luck. the part i am looking for is the adpater that bolts on the outside of the case and the power wire bolts up to.

Alright great any ideal how many sheets of mdf wood it will take to build the box. Trying to figure out if it be cheaper for me to build it my self or just pay the extra to have you do it instead.

hi every have another question my step dad bought me another sa-12 as a late xmas gift and he gonna help me build a new box for my 2nd 12 gets here but the space i have is 39x16x22 1/2 which is w x d x h. now my question is is it possible to build a box for these two subs with this much space ? and how high do you think i could tune the sub's at as well if it's not i can add more height to the box.

well i have 2 amps both are 1200 watts each and i am running 1 right now at 700 watts so if one is good enough great but if i need to use both i'm ok with that.

really that is something else . i got a question i never own a 15 before just 12's and i been thinking if my 12 inch sa ever goes out i was thinking about re coning to a 15 but i am not sure if i should do spl or copper for daily. and another question would a 15 take the lows a lot better then a 12 will or are they about the same ?

is it true you can re cone a sa sub from a 12 inch sub to a 15 inch sub if so how is this possible ?

Well it took me longer then i thought it would to build my box with all the free time i had. But it's done and came out looking good for my first vented box i ever built. Now the whole out side and inside the vent is in bed liner from a spray can don't mind the inside of the box the speaker will cover that but this is a pic of it right after i spray the bed liner now to let it dry. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/97/20111226171548.jpg

So by turning my lpf on my amp all the way up and setting the lpf on the deck around 60-100Hz that will disable the lpf on the amp. If so what about my slope should i leave at 24db or go lower it can go down to 0db.
