If you like adjusting the bass in your system it is very helpful. Set your gain. Turn the knob to max. Plug the knob in. Now you can adjust the bass in your system without clipping.

Sonic electronix has the Boston Acoustics SC60 component set for $150. I have had good luck in a few installs with these. There are also a few DLS component sets near your price range on there. They aren't bad for the money.

I agree with you 100%. My bravox set is the best component set I have heard yet. It compares to more expensive brands easily. Build is coming along nicely. No subs? blasphemy.
