  1. Update: Sundown 3500 just came in today. Waiting on the two 18" Xcons to come in. Then I can get started building the box!
  2. What price range are you looking for? I have heard good things about the v6, bad from the 4cyl.
  3. I had two 1500 v.2s strapped to two 12" Xcons. It worked out great. If you are worried about strapping, don't be it is very easy. Basically reiterate everything Notorius said from above. Either way will work great for you. D2s if you want the 1500s D1s if you want the 3500 Waiting for pics
  4. 3500/14.2= 247 amps 3500/12.6 = 277amps! aren't the 3500 rated at 12.6 Yeah you are correct. I was just doing a general voltage rating. Either way OP look into a bigger alternator, Xs Power under the hood (whatever fits), and a XS Power battery in the trunk (big as you can get). Go from there and see if you need to add more.
  5. depends on your car. what do you have to work with?
  6. 3500/14.2= 247 amps
  7. Personally, I would take Fi products over JL products any day. What are your goals?
  8. Welcome. I want to see a build log of this truck!
  9. Yeah I would all 0 gauge wiring. Your amp has 4 gauge inputs, so just use these. No need for a distribution block or any 4 gauge wiring
  10. Добро пожаловать
  11. I run an AGM battery (XS Power d1200) in the back of my vehicle with a "normal" interstate battery in front. Everything works just fine. I would get the XS Power battery. IMO they are better than yellow and kinetik and I have owned all three brands before. I have no voltage drops with two SAZ1500s strapped and a MB Quart DSC480. But my stock alternator is also 160amps. Even if you add an extra battery I don't see how you are going to be able to run your stereo system for very long without voltage drops. What is your stock alternator size?
  12. Yeah I do not see much options there. I have done a few home theatre installations with bass shakers. Might be an option for you. Check out partsexpress.com. Or as bigjon mentioned if you can take out the middle of the rear seats.
  13. So you're saying no run of 0 gauge, from the battery to the amp should be longer than 5 ft? i dont see that happening in very many installs at all. Perhaps if we all drove mini-coopers or smart cars. Or if you add a battery in the rear then it breaks up the average run length and therefore the run is under 5ft tops to the amp? ^Not saying there is anything wrong with this, cause there isn't. but the idea that a power cable to an amp has to be under 5 feet is completely stupid. How do you manage to get power from your alt to your batteries and then to your amps in under 5ft? I install my amplifiers under my hood. Don't you?
  14. Just saw "No Strings Attached" with the fiancee last weekend. It was suprisingly good and funny. Of course it is still in theatres though.
  15. Im real close then
  16. always good to get
  17. 2 10" ssa dcon - Sundown SAX 125.2 at 4 Ohms bridged 2 10" sa-10 - Sundown 1500d at 1 ohm or 1 12" sa 12 - Sundown SAX 125.2 or Sundown 1500d ran at 2ohms The box specs are posted on each companies respected sites. I do not have any experience with AQ at all.
  18. I have experience using both BRANDS not necessarily these specific amps. I do not like either of them. I know some people that use the Audiopipe amps and have okay luck with them. Planet Audio has just turned to junk IMO. If you had to pick one I would get the Audiopipe. But I would look into other options.
  19. I personally love Pioneers. Never have done me wrong in 10+ years of using their headunits. They just released some new cool looking models.
  20. I own a termlab. I live in Kzoo.
