  1. Lookin good!
  2. Cool! You guys guna make a 12 cause I would love to use some sundow eqipment in my guitar rig!
  3. Well I finaly got to mesuring my cars voltage, and to my suprise, my dmm read 14.23 and this is all stock electrical without the big three. I got the voltage Through some cheepo 8 gauge from my most recent system. I wanted to know if this sounds good for a 1kw system. Thaw alternator is 95 amps and the batery is a die hard. I want some opinions if you guys think I may be able to run a aq 1200d whithout any major electrical upgrades. And I am doing the big three in 1/0 cable.
  4. Lolz
  5. If you want to get loud and sound good, I would look in to the ssa xcon. It looks like a great overall sub.
  6. Custom boxes are always beter. Prefabs are made with no specific sub in mind. I have even seen a prefab made from partical board. I would avoid a prefab at all costs
  7. Looks great. Lovin the 3 way components
  8. Looks cool! Can't wait to see another super awsome 8 from sundown
  9. Definintly. Just be smart with the gains and make sure you have a uncliped source. Btw great choice on sub. I also bought an 18 q and am loving it. Just needs more power than 250 watts lol.
  10. You know you could get the btl's reconed to 18's cheaper than geting two new ssd's
  11. 80 psi?! that alot of presure! I only put 30 psi in mine, but then again it's not a road bike.
  12. Just a tad over that lol (1000w) Oh well, this was just a little inquiry I had, no biggie if its a big task. you could always get some car bateries and an alternator conected to a large motor lol but that could end up being expensive.
  13. Depending on what amp you have and how may watts it pulls, you could get a computor psu if it is a high enough wattage. I have a crunch 500.2 pushing two bookshelf speakers untill I can aford to buy a decent stereo amp. There is a little bit of a whining sound but it's not noticable when I am playing music. But if you amp is over 250 watts, I wouldent try with a psu.
  14. If this is your first build, personaly I would star smaller. Like an fi bl on 1000 watts. There is alot more work involved in a high watage soundsytem than you might think
  15. Um price fail? Lol BRAND NEW... REAL POWER

    Ouch
  17. well first off, no ohm load is more reliable, I would go for a dual 2 ohm so you can wire it down to 1 ohm. There arnt too many amps that do 2000 rms a 2 ohms. And before you go about getting a 2000 watt amp, do you have upgraded electrical like the big 3 1/0 gauge powerewire and a ho alternator. One amp I can recomend is a aq 2200d. The do rated and are at a price you can't complain about.

Lol win. I bet he was pissed cause he also spent so much money for it and got beat by an 8
  19. I have heard good things about their amps. I ould guess thy do rated but noone will know unroll someone does some tests
