  1. yeah i totally forgot about the Black FiDay deal. get on that!!!!!!
  2. Funkypup! Nah just playing. The Fi X 12's look pretty nice, although it goes over your budget just a tad. I'd look into them. Fi X Series
  3. man if i had the space for 4 12's i'd be on this for sure!
  4. damn dude, what a nice looking crx! never see them in that condition anymore.
  5. I can see where M5 is coming from. .80 gross with ANY size port (internal) would either fit the sub and be tuned insanely high or not fit the sub and be one large port. lol
  6. hahaha i love it. Listen to Don, e-mail him at [email protected], tell him all your problems, and let him hook you up. (i think a bit of cld on the exposed sheet metal and some ccf in-between thos loose panels you have back there sounds good, but Don knows best))
  7. x2 if you decide to buy some jude, let me know. i may get some too and we can split cost.

Setting gain varies from setup to another. Not all headunits have the some pre-out voltage, nor does everyone have the same max volume, otherwise there wouldn't be a gain. ex: I could have the gain on my amp maxed out yet never clip the signal but because I only turn my volume knob on my headunit to 5. But you on the otherhand, could have your gain in 12' position and volume at 25 and clip the signal. It all depends on your headunit AND how you set everything. x2 i set my gains by putting the volume on the highest i like it and slowly turn the gain till there is clipping. once i find that point i back it off a bit. ta-da.
  9. that guy had a towel?!?!? smother that bitch lol
  10. Sweet deal bro! Glad you went with the DCON Girl looks pretty excited
  11. sucks to hear that. haven't had any overheating problems on this end but it's getting alot colder now and that could be it. HOPEFULLY i won't have that issue because i'm loving this thing!
  12. I'm done. Didn't intend on coming out sounding like an ass but he asked for it. Lol
  13. Interesting idea . Looking forward to seeing the final setup. 2 12s sealed one up one forward sounds cool
  14. learn to read peoples posts, I contacted Hifonics and they TOLD ME THAT THE LEVEL WAS NOT THE ACTUAL GAIN!! Then they were joking with you because the level knob is the gain and the external knob is only to set the gain anywhere between the set limit by the level knob. Best way to explain that.
  15. I admire your patience Shogen.
  16. I do realize that alot of people on this forum don't have a clue what they are talking about. I don't have time to teach you about electricity and wave forms. here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gain this will help. LOL @ this post. I was feeling bad about all the flaming you were getting but I've changed my mind. Ignorance is bliss.
  17. Thanks, the Level is set to that of the HU. Sub is barely audible I have no external control knob because external knobs destroy things I can't understand how I am clipping a signal. It isn't making sense. Sorry sir but that isn't right. External knobs don't destroy things. They can be very nice to have when used CORRECTLY. The user however is 99% of the time at fault when things are destroyed
  18. dude. my last amp was a hifonics brutus... i deserve to laugh LOL
  19. OP, what are you doing??
  20. can't find the gain????? that. isn't good.
