Plus, all that weight of 4 15's and all that mdf will reduce your gas mileage significantly. you could get 2 15's and cut that weight in half and still receive similar output than 4 15's sealed. Just trying to be sensible here you know? You'd wow the heck out of your friend that has 4 15's sealed with 2 BL's ported.

Honestly, you could probably get 2 SSD 15's ported at 32hz and it would be louder than 4 15's sealed.

That's always a possibility. But instead of asking that question, go out and find it. We've given you plenty of places to start. after you have tried those options come back and tell us that your amp is still doing it if they have failed. can't give you much anything else until you do. Re-wire everything. find a completely new ground. Sand it down and bolt it tight.

Check your voltage with a dmm?

Adjust your settings first of all. if your still having problems, check your amps ground wire. Is it in a good location? Did you sand off the paint from that ground location? Yes, paint will interfere with your connection. Check all of your wires and see if they are connected properly. Get a dmm and check the voltage at the amp. If it is too low then i would suggest some electrical upgrades. Check the final ohm load that the amp from the sub. Adjust your settings before you jump to conclusions about why your sub only sounds ok. If it's not loud enough then trash that sealed box and go ported.

I don't know much about those amps, but may i suggest the Audiopipe 1k or the Audiopipe 1500? I think you have a Q, right? They are both in the same price range as the massive amp. But people on the forum usually have good input on these for budget amps.

Or any amp for that matter. Well, I have a Super Duty F250 that has a decent size alternator and two Optima Red Top's under the hood. I may add another alternator if I its required. Just keep a good eye on the voltage. If you see that its getting low then go ahead and do the big three and another battery if necessary. Well, for right now the v.2 is 100$ cheaper than the v.1. The v.2 grabs some more powerful parts from its big brother the saz-2500d. The v.2 also is a tad bit smaller than the v.1. They tested the v.2 and it put out a lot more power than the v.1. the v.1 tested 1540 max and the v.2 was more like 1750 max. Personally, id get the saz-1500v.2.

"SQL" is not a term used here because it doesn't make any sense. SQ and SPL are totally opposite terms and can't be put together. But like bobo said it's similar to the gen 2 BTL's. It's an SPL sub if you chose the SPL option. But if you chose daily then it's just a normal musical driver.

The SSD only comes in Dual 1 ohm or Dual 2 ohm coils. For dual 1 you can wire to .5 ohm (not recommended for daily) or 2 ohm. For dual 2 you can wire to 1 ohm or 4 ohm. The SSD will do perfectly fine on 500 watts, as long as the person behind the knobs knows what he/she is doing. Since your amp does the 500 at 2 ohm then you should get the Dual 1 ohm option.

That sounds like a good idea. "BTL" makes me think of Ground Pounding daily monster. Since the N1 is geared differently than the classic "BTL" and is similar to the "goal" of a Q along with the same RMS rating, I think it would be so sick if you made a sub-section for the "Q" series on the site. Like for example BTL series- N2, N3, N-SG then Q series: Q, N-Q Just an idea I had that John's post kind of gave me. By no means am I telling you what to do.

i've got a 10" ssd no options ordered the 14th of october and have'nt seen any change on my order yet. I know they where waiting for magnet from overseas somewhere???? Instead of making a response in a thread, email them and give them time to respond. There has been some hold-up at the build house and everything should be getting taken care of shortly. I know there busy. e-mailed them two weeks ago and got an e-mail back saying be patient and that they were going to e-mail me back early that next week, but no reply yet. so i gave up e-mailing them, cause i know that they are busy, so i'm going to leave them alone, but be would be nice to know whats going on. if they even got there magnets to build theses items or not? They're about as clueless as you are as to when the magnets will arrive, because if i remember correctly, the magnets are being held in customs like the Gen.2 BTLS were not to long ago. Customs is something out of their hands and really all they can do is come up with an expected arrival date and hope theyre there by then.

With the little research i did on that car, i don't think your alt. is much over 90 amps. You really can't do much unless you upgrade something. You have to do the big 3, and probably get an extra battery. id get an saz-1500d and wire your subs to 4 ohms for the time being until you get upgrades.

O im from fort wayne and i just bought a khaotik box you guys think that will sound pretty good!? It will probably sound good, but you won't have that sub up port back configuration that usually yields more output. but none the less it will sound good if you make it.
