  1. Don't forget to post a build log!
  2. Extend the width and depth to compensate for the height
  3. Still open? And can you link me or give me some specs? I'd like to have some headroom.
  4. Amp

You have that big of a budget?! -faint- I wish I had that much so I can just make systems.. Sundown and Stetsom ftw!
  5. Haha yeah, I don't like my subs playing over 60 hz Can't do too much to his 4Runner at the moment, cause he might sell it and get a Jeep..
  6. Ohh, I see. Thanks for clearing that up
  7. Turn all of the gains and boost down? Or try to disconnect the speakers and turn it up and see if the problem continues. If it doesn't then there's a short somewhere in the area
  8. But say you run it at .5ohms or something low and it doesn't blow or nothing overheats, then what? I just want to know cause I'm running a dual 1 Q at 2 ohms and I don't want to drop it at .5..
  9. The SSF is tuned to 25hz since my box is at 29 and the LPF is set at 60hz
  10. I tuned it by ear, but it took a little extra time due to the gain knob being maxed out and still not pushing it's full potential out, so I turned up the bass knob slightly to a point where I saw stress. Now, the sub gets slightly warm after 15 minutes of full tilt, but it's not more then a few degrees higher off the ambient temperature. Just wanting to make sure there's nothing bad going on. Doing the big 3 in days coming, thanks.
  11. Bye bye warranty Hello sexy ass camery!
  12. That's easy stuff. I meant. How does Sundown or any audio company know when you've dropped the amp under 1 ohm. Parallel and series wiring is all easy
  13. Just what happened to me but, Check the speaker wires coming out of the amp to see if they're touching happened to me and my amp kept going into protect after a volume of 5.. Good luck
  14. Dumb question but I'm pretty sure the answer is simple.. How do they know you've dropped an amp under 1 ohm? Teach me somethingg!
  15. Sells me your amp! Lol Just kidding. Good luck on the install brotheren!
  16. I love the12volt Also, are you sure that amp is 1 Ohm stable? All of the new ones are 2 ohm stable.. Makes me cry cause I wanted one
  17. Practically If you get Dual 1 ohm coils you'll end up in .5 Ohms if you wire it in parallel and 2 ohms in series Opposite for dual 2's If you need any help just ask the forum!
  18. Dual 2 ohm's to wire it into 1 ohm haha
  19. Amazing build.. My dad got me started in this area Thumbs up for worlds coolest dad.
  20. But you see, I just replaced my gasket, LOL
  21. Link for a RCA Bass knob? Those sound interesting since we don't have a gain knob for ours..
  22. I'll hit you up one day brother, until my amp gets in I'm at a standstill T_T
