What are you looking at? 6th gen Celica Oh yeah, I remember you've mentioned being in the market for one before. Hope it works out for you.

Budget components? Low power and low cost.
I was considering those but they are rated at 85 rms. I feel since they are IA they are probably underrated and I'm concern I wont be able to get them loud enough with 70rms, or will I just be clipping them at higher volumes. RMS rating on components is a pretty useless spec. It's not at all a good indicator of how loud they will get either. There's no such thing as under powering so I wouldn't worry about it. My advice to you is to go to an audio shop and listen to some components. Figure out what you like and don't like and why. Then decide what to buy and put an emphasis on the install. It will make more of a difference than the equipment used.

Welcome to the IHoP
Sweet. I'd be stoked to have the previous icon, and now a new one, super cool stuff. Just started laying everything out for the rear cargo area: http://cargocollective.com/ssh#2251349/2011-Stereo-Rebuild Lookin good. Should turn out pretty stellar.

What happened. I loved a woman that wasn't clean. No, I'm not sure. Been coughing for a few weeks and had a cold. I'm guessing it's from that. I'll find out when I go to the doctors today.

Frozone's Plan
Without being familiar with the RF pre fabs it's hard to say if a new enclosure would offer any benefit or not. If it's a good box and you still desire more output increasing cone area will be the most efficient way to meet your goals. You need to decide what compromises you are willing to make.

JL Audio 2012 New Products
Not really. Initial price is high, but resale is excellent. The total cost of ownership is pretty low as a result.

Frozone's Plan
I don't see a listed tuning or volume. Hard to say if it's optimal for your goals or not. Maybe someone else here is more familiar with RF's prefabs. What exactly don't you like about it? Knowing what it is you are looking to improve will help.

Frozone's Plan
I didn't see that you already have a sub. What are the specs on the factory box? If it's a poor quality pre fab I suggest you build an optimal ported enclosure for it if your available space allows. You might be surprised by the improvement depending on the quality of what you currently have. Remember, install > equipment

Frozone's Plan
First thing to do is to get measurements and determine how large of an enclosure you will be able to fit in your car. Based on the information given an 8" isn't for you. It seems as though output is your goal and I don't think a single 8" would meet your expectations. Once you figure out how much space you have to work with people will be able to give you some recommendations. To answer your question abut the wire, yes, it's the same idea Any good cca wiring will work assuming that it's the correct gauge. Welding cable works just fine for power wire.

Welcome to the IHoP
I've been out of HS for 14 years and haven't worked out since then, and the past couple years have been pretty sedentary aside from the walking I do at work and fuck sessions and I am just now gaining weight, but it mostly has to do with my disease. I was always around 3% body fat and my doctors always told me I should be dead with such a low percentage for my weight, but yeah. I'm just now getting up to 5% and I gained 15 lbs. over the past year, then lost 10 and now have some excess skin around my waist. I am always cold, and no matter what I eat, I don't gain anything. It's nice, but it also sucks too. Being cold all the time is the worst part of having low body fat. All these people at school wearing tee shirts and I'm freezing my balls off in long sleeves. I've got no body fat and never get cold. Hell I lived in Chicago for 2 winters and wore a sport coat somedays, but normally just a dress shirt. It never even gets cold there I'm jealous. I'd hate the winter a whole lot less if I were that way.

Same unless I'm moving. If I'm snowboarding I don't notice the cold at all, but walking from the garage to the building I work at is miserable. All that fucking wind.
