  1. Agreed. I'm not a mustang person at all, but even then that Yukon is quite a step down
  2. Been there, lol
  3. This is what I would do. If you're not competing I don't see the need to run all that power if you don't want an HO alternator. The amount of output you will lose by halving rms will hardly be audible.
  4. Is that for real? If so, that is almost insulting. Wow. I'm thinking the same thing
  5. How are you drinking it right now? Straight, room temp, and with ice? Glad you like it tho Edit: Nevermind just noticed the picture........didn't see that at work
  6. How are you liking the Stoli so far? I've never tried it so I'm wondering.

It's best to keep your original thread on topic since this is in the welcome section. I understand you not wanting to make a new topic I'm just pointing this out. Anyways you should take Alton or Denim's advice. Buy a low power amp for cheap or buy something used. There was an sae-1000 for sale here for about the same money as that brutus. That's a very nice amp I'm sure you would be happy with it. Best of luck and welcome to ssa
  8. How much space do you have to work with? Is 2.8 the max you can fit? That would be on the large side for a 12". Both the SSD and the BL are great subs so just pick whatever fits your budget. I can't really say which will get louder, but that will come down to install more than anything
  9. OP, if you're curious as to why this is reading this might help http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/topic/23363-before-posting-any-questions/
  10. Focusing on one statistic to choose a sub will typically bring about bad results. I would take Audible Custom's advice and choose based on price and availability
  11. I would start by removing the excess carpet so that the sub can lay flat against the wood.

  13. Will thant crush the LOWS? I want it to handle the lows. I think ill order something from fi and if its not here in 3 days ill make a thread asking where's my sub
  14. I think it varies from state to state, but in my state if you take a driving class the points are removed from your liscense. Its worth it if you've got the opportunity IMO.
  15. I need a sub. I want it to play music loud and handle lots of power. Any suggestions?
  16. You need to include a little more information. Budget, listening preferences, and your goals are a good place to start
  17. Running two 1500W amps on stock electrical is a bad idea. Like FrostedFlakeJake said it doesn't matter how many batteries you add. Your alternator just won't keep up.
  18. Forgot to mention, Saturday all the talk of boating got me to go out kayaking with some friends. Not as fun as a real boat, but still a good time. Saw a few Supras out on the lake, but no MC's or Malibus. Did see a family tubing behind a giant ass maxum, lol
  19. Personally I hate towing. Too many idiots on the interstate. If you've got someone to do it for the right price its an easy decision
  20. The age difference does make it a somewhat uneven comparison, but if they're close it will make the Malibu all the more appealing. I don't blame you for not wanting to drive it, lol that's why I asked. That's a hell of a drive with a boat behind you. I think a viper car alarm just sold here in the fs section too for like $50 IIRC. If something like that pops up again itd be perfect.
  21. i would be afraid of pushing an sae-1000 to hard i like to leave come headroom like i do with my dj equip i see he does have a refurb saz-1500 for about 390 shipped dont like the 6-7 day wait to ship time though after you pay- looks like i might be shopping around for a little while see what i can dig up Don't stop at checking Dbr's website, give them a call...they can be very helpful!!! This. Chris is a good guy to deal with. It might be worth calling.
  22. Once you've tried them both you'll have to compare them for me. I've been on a few X-25's but never a bu so I'm interested in a comparison. How are you planning on bringing that bu home from AZ? As for the alarm I have NO clue. Could a used car alarm work with some modification? I know I've seen them dirt cheap online.
  23. They're a really generic surf band. Ha, didn't catch that. Dick Dale would have made it clear Damnit, your right. That would have been a lot better. I was going to say The Trashmen, but thought The Drums were more recognizeable. When I think of Dick Dale I think Pulp Fiction
  24. Db-r is what I was referring to. I haven't checked their stock so I don't know what they have right now. Eventually they'll get some more amps in if you wanted to wait. I also remember seeing an sae-1000 for sale on here. If that's still available I think itd be a good match for a pair of SA's
  25. Que? Lol, some of those names are familiar. Dad used to listen to Tony Williams. I couldn't name a song though
