why do you not want the "typical stinger meter"? You can get it un red ir blue to march your head unit. And its easy to install...

I was looking at those. Im just gonna get the Bravox replacements for now. But I am gonna upgrade later. How do they sound? SOOO... I was driving down the highway(not the interstate.) Speed limit 55. I was going about 70ish. I was just bumpin to 6 Foot 7 by weezy. And all of a sudden this old bitch SLAMS on her pucking brakes to a complete stop... gets out of her car and comes up to my window and says, "DO YOU MIND?!". Haha. So I said, no I don't mind. Then continued bumpin as I was. Dammit man... people these days.

i am willing to spend $ for good comps/tweeters. just need to get my whole electrical situated first. thats why i think i might just go ahead and get the Bravox replacement tweets. and turn the gain way down on the amp. then when all my electrical is straightened out, get a really nice set of components.

I called Bravox and they said they could give me new Tweeter(s) at a discount price. $20 each. Should I just get some new tweets for now? I mean... considering I need engine mounts, batt(s) , and alt... I think this would be the best route for now... u guys agree?

ok, what brands/models do you suggest? im just gonna hook them right up to my bravox xovers... im not all too familiar with the frequency side of things.

I did 2 coats and used like half of the quart I got. 1quart sshould be more than plenty. Always good to have extra tho.

Yea im pretty sure I blew it. Both bridged channels on the amp are reading 4ohm. and the woofer is still good. Soo... yea. Its toast. People kept saying... u need to bridge it to get them to shine... lol. I never set the gain "correctly" just by ear. Anyways... Suggestions for new tweets? Ones that aren't harsh on the ear nor the wallet. Ones that can take enough power for my needs. (190w to each xover ) D suggested hybrids. Never looked into them.

Should I have the amp set on hug, low or flat? I have my Bravox cf comps bridged on it. On flat, I can't get the Tweeter loud enough as the woofer starts distorting. On high, all tweet no mid. On low, all mid no tweet...

Hmm... hopefully someone with a sundown can weigh in on this.

Yea. Thts what i was thinkin. Soo... on the Sundown amps, it has two sets of speaker outputs. Which do I use? Tried searching with no luck.
