Not sure what the links for... But I know one thing, Every human can make an error once in a while.. So just because your friends is working fine, doesn't mean that there is no possible way they made 1 tiny mistake throughout the whole install.... It is very easy to mess up 1 thing. These amps dont just "blow"... something has to happen. I like the idea of seeing if they will let you run one of their amps temp. to see if it happens again, proving it is possibly the wiring they did?.. And no.. there isn't a need to break in a sub. Sure... it may get a little looser or worn in after its been played for a while, but it still doesnt need a breaking in period. I beat mine pretty good new and never have problems.

WOW what program did you use to build this? I am trying to find a good program to design a box, and this is like perfect for what I was looking for so that when I design it I can see how it will turn out! but I cant find anything good online...

Thanks for the warning bro! I plan on setting it in my backseat ( not back of the seat ) but laying flat on my rear driver side seat.. As my box takes up every inch of my trunk haha.

And sorry i feel like a dick for buying it right after asking people's opinions, the guy lives 30mins away so I thought I would have time to ask but then he happened to be in the same town as me while I was at the mall shopping so I got cash out and bought it.. I would never have asked like a fag if I knew that I was going to get it that fast after asking. He just randomly text me an asked where I was and he was in my town passing through. Well he just sold me it for $200 I didn't know but he was in my area, I guess after I get my new subs installed I'll let you all know how it puts out. I realistically only need about 1800 it was cheap and no shipping and mint condition. I'll post pics tonight it's sexy condition

Hey guys, I've been looking to upgrade and today in my area a guy put up a hifonics HFi 2500d for sale for $200. His engine went out and needs money. Wanted to see if anyone knows much about hifonics HFi series amps or hifonics in general. It seems like a good deal and he sent pics and it's mint condition, looks untouched. Let me know! Looking to buy it today if you guys think it's fine? True power?

Yeah cars are made to hold an est. 250 lbs per person, so If you have 3 seats in the rear, it is basically made to hold at least 750lbs in the rear for * people * so instead of people just have a wall and subs.

One reason for the xcon is, I already have a 18" ported sub box in my car tuned to 33hz and 7ft^

Well because I really only want to spend about 300ish on subs and I have always wanted an xcon.. But if I don't get that I have also wanted to try the SA line, and I figure I could fit 3 10s and sometime they can be found for around 75-110$$

Crap I forgot to measure my trunk in my hatchback but I know I can get at least 6ft^ may maybe 6.5-7ft^. I'll try to measure it later and post LxWxH

I will most likely go with 1 18" xcon or 3 10" SA's

Do xcons or SA-10s do good sealed?? I have a ported box at the moment but thought about going sealed possibly on my next setup and spend time making a simple but very good looking box. I have a ported 18" box I could use for a 18 xcon but it was my first built box and isn't all that clean looking. I though about either sealing 1 18xcon or 3-4 SA 10s but I didn't know if they are going to do very well sealed up?? Will I lose a lot of output by going sealed vs porting them?? All experience with these drivers sealed is very appreciated!!!

That's on the hardest bass possible for my tuning drop to13.1, if not revving every so often randomly hits close to 12

My stock alt was crappp idle voltage was like 12.3 with music off before I added batts and new alt now sits about 14.6.
