  1. Very clean, lots of fuses thats for sure.
  2. Yes, yes you are.
  3. Well. Im on my 5th business day and I must say it seems to be going fast then I thought it would, waiting isnt all that bad.
  4. Mind you I posted this topic before I got to look at it at all. He told me afterwords it wasn't just cutting in and out it cut out all together, one of the wires connecting to the sub came out. Easy fix
  5. Figured it out was no big deal
  6. Nevermind..
  7. Hopefully my build is impressive enough to get on team SSA.
  8. Woot! Two 15" Icons on their way up to Canada! Time to get loud fairly soon.
  9. Just sold my Dual 2ohm BTL N2 to my buddy. It was working for a few songs then randomly cut off for a few seconds and then would turn back on for a bit, and this would happen over and over. Didnt really have enough time to diagnose anything last night but I was going to try to find out what was happening today. He has a Kicker ZX1000.1so I wired the sub in series. Weirdest thing is that he said it wasnt happening with his other subs. I was going to check the regular stuff like voltage at the amp and make sure I actually did wire the sub properly but Im not sure why it would be doing this in the first place. He told me the amp stays on so Im lost.
  10. What kind of enclosure would this even fall under? Kind of confusedd..
  11. Belts are usually a good thing, username by chance?
  12. Just looking for some help I guess. Mostly with the stock classes. The organization i was preparing for is looking like its just about dead (dbdrag). So im thinking it may be beneficial to build towards the rules of iasca. Anyone with experience competing in this format, I wouldnt mind a bit of help.
  13. Some songs being louder than othes will vastly depend on the enclosure and tuning. If you've changed tuning from your first setup then you will notice that a certain range of subwoofer notes will be louder and some will be quieter.
  14. The point is I don't want to wait an extra month then find out there is no sale when I can go buy it now.
  15. Just curious if you guys are having another sale this black friday!
  16. Build all 3 and test all 3. Hard to tell without testing, how loud it will be is very very dependent on the vehicle.
  17. 145.xx sealed with both subwoofers.. SSA ftw.
  18. Not sure if this is a total fail or an epic win yet..
  19. Alright guys.. Ill give you my opinion coming from experience in my trunk of having an 18" BTL firing up. Even though it gets fairly loud (142.xx), two 12" subwoofers with port and subs firing rearward will be better and im 99% sure of it. Also the sa-12's that you heard that didnt hit low very well was because of the install. Subs will hit any frequency you really want them to, it all depends on the install, if you like lows, tune your box low and thats what youll get. Im redoing my system with two 15's so that i can face my subs either rearward or forward instead of having to fire them up. If it were my opinion, get two 12" SSA Icons (cost about the same as a BTL) and you wont be happier.
