I wouldn't have any problems purchasing PPI amps if the price was right. I think there is a review on PPI components on diyma.

This capcell looks very similiar to Soundstream's version. Based on Soundstream's info it does not need to be charged. Soundstream CapCell I would investigate the condition of her battery, alternator and wiring. Also check to see if the capcell voltage panel is accurate and if it needs calibrated.

I have this Sunday afternoon set aside for the install. It should only take me less than 30 minutes to do the install really (had stock alt off twice now). Not too sure what you mean by DC X's 4 DC Audio makes XL's??? No doubt man. I am posting lots-o-pics and vids of this. I want DC Power to get the exposure they deserve. LOL. I heard that DC Power is discontinuing the XP line. I am glad I have one! The original alternator I was sent was a 180 HP. I did not fit. I sent the alt back to DC Power and Robbie upgraded me to an XP but I would have to wait for it to be made. Things went sour (I could have handled things differently on my part, I am not perfect) in the meantime and I canceled my order. Robbie sent me the XP anyways which I am very thankful. Pretty colors? LOL Yeah man it is a beauty. Hopefully Kyle or Robbie will tell me exactly what the output of this bad boy is.

I have been dealing with DC Power since last year having conversations with Robbie and Kyle. To make a long story short I choose to no longer do business with DC Power. I was very upset and frustrated with having to choose this route and so was Robbie (owner of DC Power). Robbie contacted me last week and offered his product to me. Robbie expressed his concern with having a customer that was not happy with his company. Robbie truly wants his customers to be pleased with his company's product. I am absolutley floored that Robbie cares this much about 1 customer when his company has thousands!!!!!!! Thank you Robbie, Kyle and the rest of the group at DC Power. Here are pictures of the alternator DC Power sent me. I do not have any information on it, I think it is an XP but I do not know the output (no birth sheet supplied). I will post pictures of the install as well which hopefully I will do by this Sunday.

You think the drivers you listed above are better than the SA series? The SA series is an excellent entry level sub. I actually hate calling the SA entry level but price wise they are in that market.

It is going to be very difficult for you to achieve a similiar low end output in this car as you had in your Blazer. You have basically zero cabin gain. If you using a different subwoofer in a small enclosure in the trunk your output maybe much better. You could also look into removing the rear seat for an enclosure. I feel that removing the passenger seat is odd, put it back -3db test tones work well if you arent boosting the crap out of your signal.

How did the 8 fry? I would make sure it doesn't happen again.
