Steve Meade's Clipping Tool
Dear Mr. M5, This tool measures DISTORTION. Yes it takes a lot of power to build a real time analyzer to measure distortion. That is what it does, that is why it works. On top of that I did it in 100% analog. This is not a toy, don't kid yourself or lead other people to think it is especially when you didn't know. Tony D'Amore D'Amore Engineering Props for stopping in but you guys are wasting your time in here....it isnt worth arguing.

Box Build For AA Mayhem 18
These are things you think about before buying a subwoofer. I say put it in the trunk sub up port on drivers side as a start. Good luck.

Zcon No Longer A ProtoType!!!!!!!!!
What kind of problems? Some are trying to disrespect me, by telling anything bad they can about me, and about the ssa woofers ! Saying they heared too much about them, they only plays low notes,...But I don't mind ! I let them speak with their Audiopipe and Audiotop woofers in tiny ported boxes with hazardous tuning !!! Very few people have great sounding bass in their car, so they are jealous when they heared something amazing ! You are even happier now pounding on your BTL

Can someone from DC Power Contact ME!!!!
When a business sells a product it is expected for the product to work as intended and for there to be a minimal amount of support. That is basic business ethics in my opinion as the customer. Customers are not always friendly or patient, they should be to an extent. Who wants to do business with a chitty vendor or customer, nobody. Businesses fail due to a chitty product and/or poor cs, not because the customer is wrong. Yeah i know. I just felt bad for the OP and i have been going through a similar situation. Move on bro. Whining about it isn't helping Do what you have to do to get your car running and share your bad experience with whomever you can, word of mouth is powerful theses days

T/S parameters for small vented enclosure design
I am shopping for two 12" subwoofers that will work well in a small vented enclosure. I would like the net volume to be 4^3 ft. or less (net meaning not including driver, material or port displacement). Some other requirements are: ~2000wrms per driver ~low f3 ~daily setup, music only ~enclosure tune to 30-32 hz with a 60-80hz xover point ~I mostly listen to rap I am considering having custom subwoofers built if needed. What are "ideal" T/S parameters based on my preferences?

DC Power Engineering's 250 Amp Altenator XP on my 2010 Camaro 6.2l
Post this in the.DC Power sevtion so more people interested in DC Power products can be aware of their products issues. I recommend you compare the DC Power alternator to your stock alternator. I do not recommend shims. If the mounting locations are off send the alternator back to DC Power and get a refund and buy a Mechman alt. Here is how I compared my DC Power alternator to my stock alternator. DC Power alternator mounting locations were wrong.

Do you have your alt posted on Jeep forums?

Can someone from DC Power Contact ME!!!!
Unfortunitely you are probably right. My alt that Robbie told me would 100% without a doubt fit didnt. We should be taking bets on when DC Power will be going out of business due to horrible customer service and a faulty expensive product. My bet is 6-10 months.

FI BTL Warranty
I highly recommend Amazing Goop for most speaker repairs involving the cone or surrond. It can be bought at Lowes.

stefanhinote's volvo v40 build
I already have a DC Alt, cheaper for me to send it in and get a case swap then a whole new alt. Just gotta wait til they get their cnc machines, make a case for my vehicle, ship mine in, get new one back. They said they could probably make the case in 3-4months, and you know there slow as hell, so I'm figuring I'll have it in hands in say 6 months? So unless someone wants to buy my 230xp alt for a reasonable price... Good luck!!! With my setup using two D3400 and my stock [email protected] alternator I am able to keep my voltage above ~13.5v with ~1800wrms on music on my 25 minute daily commute to and from work. Definitely not ideal but it works for now until I get my Mechman alternator in a week or so. I use a XS Power charger 1-2 times a week to help keep the batteries in good condition. If you set your gains to match the available electrical supply from you vehicle you should be able to enjoy your system until you get a higher output alternator. I highly recommend the XS Power 12v charger. If you have the funds get a Mechman alternator and hold onto the DC Power alternator until it sells. Or(!) get the Mechman run it at 14.4v for now. When or if DC Power starts making a product you can then use the DC Power alternator at 14.4v then run the Mechman at 16v!!!! Mechman alternators come with adjustable regulators, this is not an extra cost. To get a dual alternator bracket you can contact either a local fabrication shop or one of the popular manufacturers of dual brackets.

You will love the XS Power battery. That Sundown amp is amazing as well. Get a Mechman alt bro, don't waste your time with DC Power.

DC Power Engineering's 250 Amp Altenator XP on my 2010 Camaro 6.2l
The smaller pulley spins the alt faster to produce rated power at idle and max power at lower rpm engine speeds. A squealing belt is typically a sign of a loose belt. I wouldn't be surprised if you have mounting alignment issues, I did. DC Power FTL!!!!

Good plan. Any video(s) of the sex in yo' trunk/over view of your car? Yeah Yeah Yeah!! ^^ What Watts09 said!! I am still waiting to see a build log Get to it! Yeah Really, pics or GTFO. lol Glad you got that xcon slapping bro. Might you reconsider that need more trunk space nonsense now? I plan on sealing off the trunk this week. I will post up a decent video after that. The XCON moves alot of air, my keys dance in my ignition. I definitely need some trunk storage area. I didn't plan on using it all up it just happened I am considering two TC Sounds T.2000 12" or two Fi BTL 12". I will build the enclosure to fit the trunk better and possibly a semi external port thru the rear deck. I really(!) want to use PRs but that isn't going to work I will be able to use the 3kwp to full potential then too

sa10's doing 155 outlaw ??
The Z peaks higher than NS and SA, check those out. Look out for issues with the SA series pounding above 1000wrms.

Thanks. I will help you learn how to solder if you are interested. There are many great online how-to's and youtube videos available as well. There is a wide variety of wire and RCA connectors to choose from. I can guide you to resources to help you decide on the right components for your install. Stuff like this is really rewarding imo.

Yeah man, I am glad it is fixed! You have to figure my sub amp was receiving the back end of a 60hz/12db slope! After I readjusted my gains to approx 41volts ac not accounting for impedence rise and got the ssf properly dialed in it sounds like it should. I definitely have some rear deck rattle issues to address and I have to seal off the trunk. After I get these two items taken care of I will be able to give a better review on the XCON. But I can tell you that the XCON moves alot of air!
