4th Order Bandpass Build
Looks like SPL is your goal. I would think there is an easier way to achieve it than this design. Also depending on what organization you are competing in it might not be loudest with the cabin sealed with this setup.

a little project i'm working on
This enclosure is nuts, I like it!

Here is the back side of the fake faceplate after the first layer of bondo and hairs. I havee been waiting two weeks now for a wiring harness. I really wish there was an audio shop in my area for little parts like this.

I really appreciate the planning and workmanship of this build. Good job!

New lights...
haha, never heard of that. are they cheap? wait... is that even hids? lol Like I said both ddmtuning and starrotors are top notch. I ran a starrotors HID kit on my ZX10r for three years with no problem at all. I do not like to use HID's without proper projectors. I do not feel like fitting Acura projectors in my Hyundai, maybe I will.

Check out mister fancy pants lol. Ddmtuning is quality, so is starrotors.

Can someone from DC Power Contact ME!!!!
Trust me, we haven't stopped working on it... And I will say that I am personally very happy with how this turned out from a mechanical standpoint. From an aesthetic standpoint, I think he will be very happy with the custom aspect as the alts should be just stunning if they turn out how our last ones this color did.. I know he's not happy, I dont blame him.. Neither am I, believe me, what none of you know or see, is you've never heard me rip someones ASS up one side and down the other over them not getting their shit done so we can actually finish it. Those of you who know me personally know that I'm hot headed, and trust me, Im not afraid to rip someones (suppliers) head off when they aren't doing their f*cking job. The little things NONE of you see, is me sitting on my phone all day calling vendors making sure they are getting their shit done, so you all can get your orders. Case in point, our soon to be former machine shop got a $10k PO the ~20th of Dec, I was told point blank "we will order material in the AM, you'll have parts next week" (last week of Dec) I got back on the 4th, had no parts finished and they wouldn't answer the phone.. So, I drive an hour and a half away to find, drumroll, no F'ing parts.. So I ask (yell at) them, just exactly WTF is going on here?? Oh, I forgot to order material... Excuse me?? WTF do you mean you forgot?? I have a $10k PO on your desk, and your holding up a $40k order, plus making about 20 other customers wait, who were PROMISED, BY ME, because YOU promised ME, they would be done.. WTF??? 4 hours wasted, and I still got no F'ing parts.. And you wonder WHY we just bucked up and dropped a quarter million on CNC machines....... Yeah, because we dont care about how long it takes to get things done... If you only knew... Hi Rob. I am the guy in PA that you sold an alternator to in November 2010 that didn't fit my vehicle. After numerous delays you said I will have my alternator the second week of January 2011. After reading this post by you I take it that there is another delay. Ugh...so frustrating. I am remaining patient.... I will call you later today, hopefully somebody answers or returns my call.

Making progress on the hidden HU install. Little bit more f'glassing and fabrication and it should be complete, hopefully this weekend. Looks rough now but it will all come together in the end.

Not much going on this weekend. Out house buying Buyers market 1. Got some more work done on the hidden HU install. Not posting pics up yet. 2. Talked to Don at Sound Deadener Showdown. We put together a price for my trunk area, woozaa. 3. Bought 50' of Gepco 61801EZ and some RCA connectors and other required pieces. I will use DIY interconnects for DQXS to amps. I already have Monster Cable XLN interconnects for HU to DQXS. I had it in my basement for 5 years BNIB so I might as well use it now. 4. I will be working on some cosmetic mods to the REV-665 to help make it look not so cheapo. 5. I really need to get my second D3400 wired in or go out and buy an AGM battery charger.

What size fuse on alt to battery wire?
The fuse rating you use is based on wire size and length. The chart within the link posed above is accurate for 12v use.

I need some insight for my next build
Generally people report that forward firing subs are best for SQ. I have read that firing your port through the rear deck can dramatically reduce the "sub up front" effect. I have read reports of spl trunk cars having the biggest db gain with subs up port to the driver's side.

Building my first IB subwoofer setup
Very impressive to look at!

Fresh of the UPS Truck
Nice components fosho!

yet again another gain issue!
You will need to check you amp's manual to see if the remote knob acts as a gain control or bass boost. Ultimately resetting you gains and double checking the wiring is best.

Delay in response
Initial post was wrong vendor. XS Power's customer service time and delivery is top notch!!! Good luck with the move!!

Please help me !!!
If I had this truck I would make a blow thru. Did you consider that? 15 years ago I had a standard cab S10 with a blow thru. Two Lanzar 15's and an XTant 800w amp. Sounded good at the time. Good luck with this.

what wire should i look into! please help!
I prefer to use ofc power wire. I like Monster Cable 400 wire and Stinger HPM. Both brands are expensive mainly due to the brand name. Shop around for deals. Some people like to use welding cable. There are many online power rating charts available, look at 12v power charts. There is alot of marketing hype over RCA interconnects. I prefer to make my own. You can save yourself alot of money by making your own If done correctly. There are many online how-to articles. A popular brand is KnuKoncepts if you like to buy premade. I never used KnuKoncepts products but many do.

Stupid Question
A lack of parallel walls will have zero affect in the subbass. The purpose of non-parallel enclosure walls is to reduce standing waves within the enclosure. For subbass, this isn't going to be an issue to begin with as the dimensions of the enclosure are much shorter than the wavelengths of the sound waves, so standing waves are not going to develop. For subbass, I doubt there would be an audible difference between a well designed and braced MDF enclosure and some other exotic enclosure material. The resonant frequency of the panels is gong to be too high, and any losses from panel resonance/flexing is going to be too small compared to the driver output to audibly affect the sound. On a meter, I doubt you would see much of a difference either as long as the MDF enclosure was properly braced to begin with. Notice I explicitly stated I discussing affects in the subbass frequency range here. As we move up the frequency spectrum where the wavelengths are shorter and you are closer to the Fs of the enclosure panels, those issues can start to become problems (although there are far less exotic means of dealing with them). External panel shape can also affect frequency response in other ways in the higher frequency region....but that's neither here nor there. Like I said if it is that big of a concern. I gave two common methods for enclosure design that could be adopted for subwoofer enclosures if the builder feels enthusiastic.
