  1. Damn I missed it...
  2. Good golly that has to take a ton of power to move that coil and cone assembly.
  3. I do not see any reference to 12" driver parameters in the pinned section. Do you have Klippel results for the 12"? T/S parameters? Recommended enclosure sizes? Thanks. PS as you know from PM's I am interested in two 12" that is why I am asking these questions.
  4. No prob. i love what you are doing here on the forum and where you are taking your company's products.
  5. I shared your facebook link on my page.
  6. Stay loud buddy
  7. I like the design goals for this driver, small enclosure with a low and shallow roll-off. Does this mean that the maximum SPL capability of this design will suffer compared to your Ethos? If I understand correctly the Ethos is a "ground pounder" type sub which performs well in smaller enclosure sizes and the Primo is more of an SQ orientated subwoofer which excels in smaller enclosures with great low end extension. Will you please share what the full line-up of drivers are the you will be designing along with their corresponding goals?
  8. I thought they looked like oversized baskets like the TB W4's I had.
  9. BTW holy shit the 15" would be insane.
  10. Their tweeters and mids look fantastic. I would have a machine shop trim the mounting flange on those mids though.
  11. I thought they had the 15" but discontinued it.
  12. Has anybody used these? Interesting specs - XBL^2 motor design, copper coil, 3 shorting rings in the motor, high xmax. You can pick two of these up for $519 plus shipping(?). For car audio use they look like they ought to be good SQ subwoofers with good low end extension in the right enclosure.
  13. No do not use these to start your car on a daily basis. Once the charge is depleted they will damage your alternator and any other batteries you have in parallel with them. Maxwell has the charging circuits designed that regulate the charge once they are at max capacity. In fact you can buy the banks and circuits already assembled. You would need a battery isolator in between the cap bank and your starting battery. But even then if the caps are fully discharged you could damage the rest of the electrical system if they see instantaneous +12v from a battery or alternator. IMO safer charging circuits need to be designed for automotive use. Eventually I think there will be a benefit from them in certain applications.
  14. You just entered.........
  15. He was referring to the security level at the prison not the size
  16. Installing a car PC or tablet looks like a huge pita. I use my car audio system for audio playback only. So all of the bells and whistles with a PC or tablet are useless to me. IPod -> PureI-20 -> DSP -> amps. Short list of components, simple install
  17. The Obsidian 18 V3 should be available for pre-order soon I think they will be $142 plus shipping
  18. A few months ago I needed to kick start my metabolism. I did 15 minutes of HIT first thing in the morning and ate bfast two hours later. I shed 5lbs in a week without any other diet changes. My preference for HIT is burpees. I would do 90-100 of them in 15 minutes which isn't a very fast pace but definitely got things moving.
  19. Nice! I love almond milk as well. I was making my own for a while. I was doing similar to you with the shake, I would have it for breakfast. It was good but I was losing weight like crazy. Now I have the pancakes I posted for bfast and a kale salad late in the morning.
  20. If you want to be anal about it, you would be better off skipping the fats until a little later (IE when you aren't eating a bunch of carbs) because you can't use fat for energy when insulin is high, so the fat is pretty much going straight to storage.I am glad you posted that. Might be better with skim milk then!
  21. I'll let the secret out to my top notch recovery drink: Chocolate Milk - 2 cups of whole milk - 2 tbsp Hershey's chocolate syrup Approx: Carbs : 37g Protein : 17g Fat : 16g After a good cardio or weight lifting exercise your body's insulin sensitivity is high. This is beneficial in getting nutrition to your muscles for repair. This is what we want, muscle building. The sugar and fat in chocolate milk is immediately used as energy and a transport of protein and other nutrients to your muscles. After a cardio (running for me) I drink a big glass of chocolate milk. After weight lifting I drink a big glass of chocolate milk with an added scoop of whey isolate and bcca's.
  22. And if they made "extra fat" cottage cheese I'd buy that. Watch what shit they put in instead of the fat and you may not want that fat free stuff. Friendship is the brand name. It is imo the best tasting small curled cottage cheese and they pack 16g of protein into a 1/2 cup serving All of my local grocery stores sell it. Shogen you should educate yourself on fats. The benefits of a high fat diets out weigh the negatives. Unfortunately most people consume their saturated fats along with high sodium processed products and/or over consume. Highly processed, refined foods will harm you much faster than a high fat diet will. I am not Dave Asprey lol so you will need to do the research yourself BTW my morning coffee has 30g of saturated fat and no it isn't buletproof
  23. He had SSA for a short time (only the end of one season IIRC). He quickly switched to Sundown. He had the title with the Z.3's and now with the Z.4's.
