Favorite Recipes
Do you have a favorite food recipe? Post it up! Here is one of my favorite breakfast recipes : Oatmeal, cottage cheese, egg, banana pancakes 1/2 cup oatmeal (Quaker oats 100% natural whole grain) 1/2 cup lowfat cottage cheese (Friendship 1%) 3 whole eggs 1 banana Grind all the ingredients in a food processor minus the banana. Mash the banana into the mixture. Pan fry the mixture with coconut oil (the MCT oil is an added bonus) into 4-6" round cakes. Makes 4-5 cakes depending on size. I top the cakes either with honey or peanut butter but taste great with nothing else added. A buddy of mine likes to add coco to the mixture. Good sources of protein, carbohydrates and fats. They are very filling. Approx : Carbs : 60g Protein : 40g Fats : 16g

How much room I need to leave in front of a port ?
It isnt half the port length but rather half the port diameter I have even read some references that claim a distance equal to the port diameter. Port Flares Fared ports are typically made out of a plastic material. Slot ports are normally made out of the wood you are building the box with. Port fares can be a weight savings. IIRC I read a study where the author proved that the air velocity was less with a flared round port tube compared to a slot port with equal surface area. So this means that you can have a smaller fared round port tube compared to a larger equally performing slot port. This is beneficial for reducing port length which reduces net enclosure size and helps reduce overall weight. I also think that enclosures using flared round ports are easier to build.

Crossfit article
But guns are cool and crossfit is idiotic, so what's your point? I am not sure if you are being a dick or if you truly do not understand the correlation.

Where to get supliments
Before you guys buy supplements do you research the product to find out how it is made and what affects it has on your body both positive and negative? Do you look for accredited research from various institutions proving that the product does have a positive affect with exercise and with a controlled diet? The only legal supplement that I know of that has been proven to enhance your ability to do work is creatine monohydrate. I ask because I would love to find that over the counter wonder drug just like you all But I see 90% of this crap BS.

That is great that you want to have that approach to this forum. The majority of new members recognize the same moderator(s) that you speak of. There are moderators on this forum that have a lot of knowledge to share only if it is common sense. I do agree, as does the majority of this forum's members, that there is a moderator that is condescending and after all the babbling is read isn't helpful. In the end if it bothers you that much log out and join a different car audio forum.

To answer you question you can stop additional payments from SSA through paypal. Google "subscription payments paypal". As far as the mod issue. Everybody can be a douche once in a while. Some more often than others. You can bock that member's posts in your control panel. This will not fully hide their posts, you will see other people quoting it or other people responding to it. You also have to keep in mind that moderator's posts are their own thoughts. The owner's of SSA may not have the same opinion. After all the majority of posts are OPINIONS and you know what they say about that I think it is a little immature for you to not want to buy products from the SSA store based on a //douchbag moderator. Your value of the SSA store should be of the products and price point. Just my opinion please do not take it offensively I am only being honest with you and trying to help you see through this.

Setting goals for a healthier lifestyle - mud runs
This weekend I ran the Savage Race, 5 miles and 25 obstacles. Cold day at 45 degrees! Sprint at the start The first obstacle was being submersed in ice water Sawtooth Bars was fun Big jump We ran in then non-competitive heat. I finished 1st in my age group and 8th overall. Going forward I will only run the competitive heats. So far this is the most fun that I had at a mud run. The obstacles were awesome!

Setting goals for a healthier lifestyle - mud runs
November of 2012 I was fed up with my inactive lifestyle. I was drinking a case of beer a week and over eating at every meal. I decided I was going to start to run again as well as do mild weight training and put more thought into my diet. I also registered for a Warrior Dash that was in August 2013. This would help motivate me to make a change. My goal was to be able to run this in a decent time. A few weeks into my running and my knees were in constant pain. A soreness that bothered me all day every day. February 2013 I was diagnosed with degenerative joint disease in my knees. I supplemented my diet with Fish Oils and Glucosamine Chondroitin. After a couple months these supplements along with stretching alleviated all of my knee pain! Since January of this year I have lost almost 30lbs of fat. I am not quite where i want to be with my physical conditioning but I am getting close! I was road running. I was also having some deep muscle soreness in the sides of my calf muscle that I was not able to ease. I purchased running shoes that are suitable for my gate and stopped running roads. I strictly run on trails only. I am very fortunate to have a lot of state game lands and state parks near my house. I wear a pair of Inov-8 X-Talon 212 for muddy trails. Awesome shoes! Here are a few pictures of the trails that I run. The weight training that I do is mostly body weight type of exercise. Pull ups and push ups are a staple in my exercise plan. I do my workouts in my garage. I bought my pull up bar and dip bar at http://www.newyorkbarbells.com/ I have a 80lbs heavy bag and a double end bag that I use occasionally for cardio. A majority of my workouts are crossfit based. Here are a few pics of my garage set up. I got a phone call in the evening on July 2012. A buddy said that he has an extra ticket for the Spartan Race that was the next day! Of course I said hell yeah but I really had no training for this. I am very happy that I did it. It was awesome!!!! The event was at Blue Mountain ski area. We had to run up and down a mountain with 15 obstacles. I finished 281 out of 5635. Yesterday I ran the Warrior Dash that motivated me to exercise from the start. The Warrior Dash was fun and much easier than the Spartan Race. I finished 150 out of 7118. Anybody that is looking to be healthier through exercise and diet can use mud runs like I did for motivation. They are a lot of fun and is a great event to do with family and friends.

Brooks Ghost 6 running shoe
Since wearing these Brooks I have improved my 4 miles time by over 15 seconds a mile. The time lose was instant and I have been getting faster since. Most deep calf pain I was experiencing has been relieved (more-so due to the fact that I needed new shoes, may not be only attributed to the Brooks). The Ghost 6 is the lightest road shoe that I ever worn. The shoe is very flexible and breathable. When I lace the shoes up I feel like I am putting on a well constructed running shoe. They are seem to fit my foot perfectly, there are no loose areas in the shoe. I have changed my running terrain to all off-road. I no longer run on the pavement. The Ghost 6 is providing good traction and support. I also use a pair of Inov-8 X-talon 212 for muddy trails. The X-talon is a much different shoe and I have been enjoying the reduced drop. I give the Brooks Ghost 6 two thumbs up. They are definitely worth trying on if you have a neutral pronation and do not require a high level of shoe stability.

charging issue.... help from the experienced only please
Go over your wiring in the engine compartment again. Doesn't make much sense to have better voltage with an old battery (assuming new battery is working properly). Is your alternator boiling hot (sprinkle water on it or spit on it) within a couple minutes of engine start-up at idle with all accessories off? If so that is a good indicator that it has a heavy load on it. This could be an issue with bad connections or bad battery(s). One more thing. If the alternator has a bad regulator in it or if the regulator is not matched to your vehicle this could be the issue. I experienced this problem with a DC Power alternator.
