Nothing wrong with HAT What are you doing with the tweeters?

Mounting external aero ports
I screwed and glued mine to the baffle. Countersink your holes so the screws are flush with the id. Then fill smooth with caulk.

Very cool bro. I never saw expanding foam used like that. Are those Dayton Audio mids? RS-100 I love Dayton Audio drivers.

Nikon D800 :)
Thats only your opinion. I can very easily video record a wedding and photograph with the same camera. Very practical, very useful. I have worked a wedding where the hired proffesional videographer uses DSLR's strictly. She choose her DSLR purely based on it's video recording specifications The D800 records video over 29 minutes

ZCON 15 enclosure build log
That sucks. I contacted DC Audio and filled out their return authorization form. They replied with an RA# and the amp was dropped off at UPS this evening. Couple weeks and I should have it back. Shit happens. But if it happens again then Crescendo here I come!!!!

Help! Screws keep backing out!!
There's no need to drill pilot holes in the baffle, that's for the edges so they don't split. Predrill all. Often speaker cut-outs ares larger than needed and the mounting holes are close to the cut-out edge.

Nikon D800 :)
Half the price of the D4 lol Could be a shitty camera, hopefully not. They crammed a high resolution full frame sensor into a small frame which could be detrimental to image quality. 36mp will eat up memory cards fast. I was expected better low light performance but the video looks phenomenal. We will see.

How big should a port for 15" be?
I really need to hit the books... It's in the loudspeaker cookbook, although I'm sure it's in a thousand other books too. It is. Reading it through the third time, actually. My "bedtime" reading isnt absorbing lol Try in the morning with a cup of coffee. I wake up at 4:20am. I am screwed. Glad there is a Stefan around to solve my port volume issues! You wake up at 4:20 just to get high? I made a calc pertaining to some of the stuff: http://portsgalore.stefanhinote.com/ Might find that useful. Haha. I haven't smoked the dope in many many years. Cool calc bro! I cant wait to check it out!!!!

ZCON 15 enclosure build log
99% sure I am doing a forward firing setup. Sub behind the rear seat with 8" port firing through the rear deck. I am going to take my time fabricating this one. I am going to be fiberglassing a rear deck panel. I havent taken any measurements yet. Everything should work out ok. DC Audio repair center sent me an RA number to ship it out to them to have it repaired. I never imagined to have any issues with it. Really a fluke thing. I haven't heard anybody ever having issues with these amps. I searched and searched for a fault in my setup or other equipment and I was not able to come up with any other reason. The amp was working great since installing it then three days later POOF no bass. My XD600/1 has been working great since reinstalling it. Me too bro. After long term listening this driver isnt performing well. Maybe in a larger enclosure it would be better.

IAK needs an "IHOP"
No refund? You owe, sorry We usually don't owe too much, but rarely get a refund. It's a toss up. We make too much... to get a refund. Which would you rather? First of all. I do not make too much. Wish I did!!!! I try to cut it even. I would rather have my cash now than have a corrupt government hold it for me.

Grand Prix SMD SD 3500 BUILD
I was reading through this watching his vids, thinking, what the f? Clown uses a butly tile on the underside of his hood. How is that working out? He stated that he is waiting over a month for his DC Power alt. A month is an hour in the DC Power timeline. DC Power has horrible customer service and their product inst worth the wait or the money.
