i have some kenwood 6989ie 6x9's 4-way and the tweeters on the speakers burned. my question is why are the tweeters burning? i am runnning this speakers on a koiiler 2 ch amp actully i am running 4 6x9's to this amp.two 6x9's to one channel and the other two 6x9's to the other channel.the amp is 800 watts peak. the speakers are 280 peak power,rated power 70 watts.impedance 4ohms. i would really appreciate some info. thanks

Is it ok to run the voice coils of the woofer to each channel on a 2 channel amp for a 2ohmx2 dvc woofer. I have my amp bridged. I have the woofer wired in parallel. but my amp is not 1 ohm stable, and a friend told me to do this. will there be any problems if i do this. please help

i did the big 3.does the wire that connects from the battery to the alt. always has current running through it?

ok try wiring them in paralle so that you are using all of your + - on your woofers

so your saying that you have 4 pos and 4 neg on the woofers i don't think you have them wired right becuse you have one pos one neg that are not connected

are your woofers double 4 ohms double 2 ohms
