Finally able to hit the sack. I can't stay awake for 23 hours.

Hmm. I never heard the Northstar issue either, but this is NOTHING close to a Northstar. The LS engines are arguably one of the greatest engines ever produced.

Welcome to the IHoP v.2
Had a date tonight. Coming home at 1:30 ADT calls me. So I rush to work, fire department is there. I go in to reset everything and the dry riser would not reset. Now I have to wait 1-4 hours for ADT to show up and fix this shit. I was already ready to pass out on the drive home, now I have this shit to deal with.

I've never heard of an issue with the LS engines. You sure you're not thinking of 1980s iron block/aluminum head gasket issues?

customer service.
Can't argue with that.

I'm partial to the cigarette lighter in older vehicles myself. It's usually the closest place for a constant, and if you don't smoke, even better.

customer service.
They did not lie to you. They make every concerted effort to get your packages to you. If it was UPS, you would not have even gotten a person to talk to and if you did, they would have told you just wait without giving you any more information. They all do Saturday delivery except to remote areas.

There's nothing French about that thing. I loved my Vortech. I had 4:10s, so it was easy to put around town quickly, yet stay out of the boost. That car easily got 30 on the highway, and the 2v is not know for economy, especially given my rich tune and 60 pounders. That SOB would hit 3K and about 500 later would pin you in your seat and keep pulling like a rocket.

The Vortech SQ is pretty quiet. Here's the one on my last Mustang http://s424.photobucket.com/user/tirefryr/media/GT/Picture034.mp4.html

Centris build boost progressively with RPM. PDs are instant. You hit the throttle, you are almost at full boost.

A PD blower, not centrifugal though. Not in that heavy bitch.

Yes and yes, but you have to keep in mind, this instance is only in places where emission testing is involved. Generally a muffler will not impact or most systems from the cats back, but it is the discretion of the tester. They could easily fail you on a visual test. If it's louder, they could fail you on dB test, etc. . .

Read above your quote here. It's all about the exhaust. They COULD be CARB legal, but the money and time would make the kits too expensive and would never sell, so it's pointless. Any time you make any part of the exhaust different from OEM, you are in violation.

Knowing what I do, I will disagree with you, but I can not argue with you either as that is what you have experienced.

4th order help for two zv4 18s
ok now i see, you boviously dont understand how 4th orders work. 90 % of music , rap, hip hop, decaf, r&b are in 20-50 hz range. you dont ride around listening to music at 50hz and up. thats the whole purpose of a 4th order to give you a wide range of music. most 4th orders range from 25-45hz which is a excellent range. some of the loudest guys in the world have 4th orders that are very musical and can play wahtever they want at any frequency and do it loudly. The music i listen to ranges from 20hz-20khz, lol im kidding.Anyway, how does a 4th order bandpass equate to having a wider frequency bandwidth than ported? If the frequencies you are worried about is the 20-50 hz range then a 4th order bandpass will be alright, although that doesnt mean it wouldnt be easier to get that from a ported enclosure. If you have a design already in mind then whats the issue? You seem to not care what anyone says, so why not just do what you plan on doing, since thats the route youre going to take regaurdless. Heres the thing im done with ported boxes, its time to move to the next step which is a wall. Im already loud with a ported box now. but thats like saying my ported box which has three 18s in it will be louder than it being walled. it aint happening. Im sorry you cat compare a ported box to a wall, only way that wlll happen if you had a retareded amount of power. I alreadly run 10-12k rms daily. You can't compare any enclosure to a wall.

The ONLY time a bandpass is worthwhile is if you want to mechanically control your passband via enclosure. IT's not magical. It's not special. It's nothing more than a vented enclosure with a mechanical crossover. Now, don't get so upset. Just answer us this. if you know that your driver is "built for 4th order," then you understand how to build 4th order, correct? You seem to be telling us the answer to your question.
