  1. Fuck the PB. Get some CRC Freeze-Off ans a 7/8 box wrench
  2. Sorry, should have included the budget. Kinda want something cheap. This just has to last me for a week or so, so about $75 would be ideal. If not, Crutchfield has some throw away units for $100.
  3. Looking for a cheap HU with a USB input to get me by for a couple weeks.
  4. I think we need a miniDSP thread. I am looking that way right now as well.
  5. Nope, just another idiot.
  6. IT sure will. Just use your ears.
  7. That's a K-member brace. Honestly Teo, if you're not racing it, I really wouldn't bother. With as little power as you have, you really have to be driving like a nut on the street to reap any benefit.
  8. The only one being dramatic is you. Your questions were answered, however, not to your liking. If you want specifics, then state that. Most people want a simple answer which was provided. I won't even bother with your nonsense comment. Are you blind? The OP says PLEASE TRY TO BE SPECIFIC/TECHNICAL IN YOUR ANSWER If I wanted a simple answer I would not have typed, PLEASE TRY TO BE SPECIFIC/TECHNICAL IN YOUR ANSWER And the dramatic people are those defending SSA when noone is attacking SSA, and why are you guys so defensive anyways, is there something not being said? 90% of the answers I got were from people who do not know what they are talking about like yourself tire, saying because it is made in USA. Real good input and helpful to boot..... So don't get butthurt and go banning me or something. There is what, 1 new thread here a week, and I now see why. LOL. If you only knew half of what I know.

  10. The positive and negative shit is gay. If it bothers you or makes you mad, you're retarded.
  11. Nobody ever said you stated they were over-priced and I answered your question in my both of my previous posts.
  12. US quality, labor, and parts are expensive, but Americans are cheap and want cheap shit. Why do you think everything is made in china now?
  13. LEt me ask you this. . . . Why are the subs made in china so high? LEt me put it this way. Say an SSA/Fi/AA sub costs $200. It costs $100 to make, $30 to package and ship, and another $30 for overhead. So, the profit at best is $40. The chinese subs cost $20 to make, $20 to package and ship, let's figure in the same for overhead even though it's probably half that, so that driver that is $200 from the guy who had his shit made in china only actually cost him $70, yet he's selling it to you for $200turning a $130 profit. Add in to that, the products are often inferior to the US (my own personal opinion here) counterparts and take away from our economy and jobs.
  14. Yes, quickstruts are the way to go IMO. Just stay away from Monroe.
  15. Stock wheels, tires, and the rest of the suspension and you're not looking for performance, so why even contemplate the lowering springs?
  16. Eh, it's just two weeks salary.
  17. I haven't used that shit since high school.
  18. That is front end specific too. A live rear axle, I am for coliovers every time.
  19. May I ask why? I had done so much suspension work to the Brabus, and coil overs were waiting to be installed before the horrible fate.... anyway I never got to use them. A vehicle not originally designed for coilovers gets increased stress on the lower ball joint and depending on the car, the top mounting point. In case of the Cobra, it was te strut towers which required a strut tower brace which connected to the firewall which transferred every minute vibration through the dash and windshield. The stress wears the ball joint out quicker and can weaken the A arm if it's not engineered up to the task of the added stress. Yes you get increased flexibiity, but this is not something you will ever use on the street. If you track the car, yes, but never in any situation on the street will you see any need for this extreme, and if you do, you should not have a license.
  20. Ho ho ho. Happy Berfday! Oh wait.
  21. I had the Tokico Illuminas on the Cobra. They were horrible. I don't know who makes their springs though.. now having both stock type suspensions and coilovers, I will never use a coilover on the street unless the vehicle had an OEM design, and I'm not talking McPherson.
  22. Modifications NEVER add to the value of a car, no matter what a person says. Ask a loan officer or vehicle appraiser. The Neon has shitty resale value even being an SRT4. Your truck will ALWAYS be worth more money. Even with the added cash, it doesn't make sense unless you want to flip the car.
  23. And there you go. I have no garage. In the winter, it is a lifesaver for me. Not having to go outside and spend extra time in the bullshit cold to clear my windows is priceless.
  24. Holy shit, what's going on here?
