  1. All valid, rational points, unfortunately not a politically driven agenda, which is what drives our world. I wonder how our founding fathers would have handled this. I bet they would all go back to a mason's meeting and get baked. Better yet, let's get all of the oil rich countries to only sell oil to those who legalize pot.
  2. That's nothing more than a VIP pass to getting your ass whooped by the Yanks or Sox.
  3. What happens if you have a legal prescription? I'd assume that they can't control that then, although while "working" they surely could. There is no such thing as a legal prescription. Federal law trumps state, so even is he had that, he's working a federal job, abiding by federal laws. Hell state cops can arrest you for possession or use even in states where it's "legalized" with a prescription. What if you were married to a Dutch girl and lived in NL when not working? As soon as you step foot on the US base, you are to abide by their laws, so if they drug test you, you're screwed. Also consider that the only reason you are there in the first place is for work, for the US government, so you're still by by ludicroucy. Don't think that's a word, but you get the idea. I am all for legalizing weed, but it has to be controlled like alcohol. No driving under the influence, public intoxication, etc. . . I've seen too many people do too many stupid things on pot and wouldn't feel safe otherwise. Well, it's not like we're safe from the alcohol either, but I think the better part of judgement gets people and for the most part, they engage in their vices in a responsible manner.

Could also be the speaker cable rattling in the enclosure or hitting the driver. . . Or mechanical noise of the driver itself. . . Or. . . .

Air leaks and turbulence can have "odd" sounds that normally wouldn't lead you to believe it was that.

Your vent is too small and the air is chuffing causing the noise you hear.
  10. Your first post on this forum will NOT be to spam your product. I don't care who did the review, you've already violated the TOS you agreed to when you joined the site. You can stay and contribute if you'd like, but no more pushing your product. If you want to purchase your own sub-forum, contact admin, but this shit won't fly.
  11. I see. Like Pioneer, they use a removable RCA fixture. I don't think you'll be able to find one cheaper if you can even find one. Check www.installer.com, or email Nakamichi, or something.
  12. You are what you eat. . . . Apparently the ND football team has spent the past few weeks devouring apple turnovers.
  13. The Type Rs have been proven to get loud, and they are more than capable in comparison to many internet companies' offerings. Why the doubt? Why does everyone always talk shit or doubt something they've never experienced. Too many "experts." You could be just as wrong about his Type Rs as you think he is about Fi.
  14. You'd better hurry, 2011 is almost over.
  15. Let me guess, you just saw them on an episode of "How it's made?"
  16. He got one of the first cars in the first run. Just like any new model, it's bound to have problems. They had an issue with the PATS over there and apparently, the European Ford dealers weren't fully equipped at that time to handle the "American" programming, so it sat for months before he could drive it, etc. . . .
  17. You'd never fit in that car Skip to 1:35 http://www.streetfire.net/video/top-gear-ford-gt_part-1_164060.htm I love that episode! They state the engine is essentially the same as the Lightning, but it couldn't be further from it. It shares four things with the Lightning; bore x stroke, the Ford stamp on the block, and the transmission bolt pattern, and the head bolt pattern. NOTHING else is similar. I love that car. I didn't know that information was fictional. I was fairly disappointed when I heard it, but I tend to pay little mind to his criticisms about American cars. Some of it is deserved, but in all fairness he isn't happy unless he's bashing them in some way. It's still better than the way the American version of the show reviews American cars. Those Cadillacs were ugly. Doesn't he own one? He did have one. he had a bunch of problems with it, sold it and bought a Gallardo.

  19. yes sir i do . thanks! PM me your addy.
  20. Jon, do you have a 4G? If so, let me know and I will send you a rectifier I had custom made. If it works for you, it could be easily duplicated.
  21. The V3 was the best Mag, IMO. While the V4, which was the last version with the "shallow mount," had the best "SQ," the V3 was a super versatile driver that could work in pretty much any application, could get loud off of low power or could soak up a ton of power in an SPL app or loud vehicle. I miss the two I had. They were my second all time favorite drivers. I would compare them to two very capable drivers currently available and well known on these forums.

  23. I had a single 10" Cerwin Vega IT with 300 watts in my new Edge SN95 and it was loud enough. I had longtubes, and off-road H-pipe, and 2 chamber flows, and the quiet whine of a Vortech.
  24. Yeah, but you can't really tell by a damn recording, that's the bad part. It sounds completely different in person; like a big 4 banger.
