  1. Once you do a 100% steel box, you'll go back to wood. Having to tap holes and bolting in the sub is a PITA. Ask me how I know. Now if you're talking all steel except where the speaker mounts, I can show you an Explorer done that way. It's 1/2" steel. Drilling and tapping steel is quite easy. I don't see the issue here. As for bolting drivers in, doesn't everyone? Threaded inserts have been available for ever.
  2. SO I bought a 458. Let me tell you, GT5 is all fucked up as far as handling goes. This thing is the worst car I have.
  3. HORRID! It's the retarded bastard-child from an oil-soaked night between a Z4 and a Panamera.
  4. Sure. People do it all the time.
  5. Even that is pointless. How many times do you see the word "headunit" used? It either gets abbreviated to HU or people just post the make and model.
  6. Splitting it up would just make it chaotic. There's not enough traffic in the classifieds, people are stupid and we'll be spending too much time moving shit into the proper categories, you'll have people posting the same item in multiple categories, etc. . .
  7. It's just the fact that they are so small and so little of them made. MAss-produced parts are cheap, and Volvo does not mass produce in terms that other manufacturers do. Even with sharing Ford parts, they are pretty brand specific. In the case of the Volvo, the engine is probably where the cheapest parts are.

Point made on all accounts. Closed.
  9. That generation is problematic . In fact, I would not buy any Volvo from about '95-'03. I almost bought an S60R a couple years ago and was heavily leaning towards a new C30 as well. Be fore-warned, the maintenance prices are ridiculous. Nothing on them is cheap.
  10. Fuck that. #6 FTMFW!
  11. I LOVE pussy, but I hate cats. I am severely allergic to them, so I wish them all a horrid death.
  12. I was hoping it would ram into the side and break its neck.
  13. That's what makes my day.
  14. Right.
  15. . . . As opposed to a FAKE supercharger?
  16. Edmunds.com or some Shitty Chevy forum. IIRC, the displacement is 327 cubes, but I haven't done the math.
  17. Yep because owning a car manufactured by the best makes your installation suspect.
  18. cancellation
  19. Waste of money. Nothing but bullshit. Don't believe in any "audiophile" wiring.
  20. I use several all the time at work. The cheaper ones won't be accurate at distance and the "better" ones will be more accurate and have the ability to do fun things like take water temps through pipes. MEasurement range will also be limited with the cheaper units. I use this for motor temps. http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_03450466000P?prdNo=1&blockNo=1&blockType=G1 And this for everything else. http://www.fluke.com/fluke/usen/Thermometers/Infrared-Thermometers/Fluke-561.htm?PID=56089
  21. True and true. Now if they would shoehorn that engine into the Focus along with the AWD. Only in EU and AUS. They will only get the 2.0 Ecoboost though. We get the shaft and no AWD.
  22. It'll never have a manual and while I hate the weight, you can't complain about a 12 second sedan that gets 30mpg. While I am a huge Ford fan, any engine produced now-a-days should be able to perform just the same.
  23. That's his fusible link.
