Welcome to the IHoP
Still fucking snowing. Wouldn't be bad if I lived in the mountains or something, but damn. Fucking plows haven't come through and my Mexican neighbor has been plowing the street. HE just bought this truck and plow so he doesn't know too much yet so it's quite entertaining to watch him drive down the street, but at least it moves some of the snow. It's almost to the point where you have to have a sled for transportation and many people have sold their sleds over the past couple years do to a lack of sustained snow.

He could have posted a wanted ad with one post, just can't hock his goods without the proper number.

Welcome to the IHoP
You ride Colorado powder, I ride ditches and trails. Huge difference. Plus all of our trails really go just from bar to next bar so it isn't so necessary...unless you overheat. Same here.

I haven't played mine yet, but my BIL has mine and he says you have to use the analog sticks for throttle control, so I would assume a natural motion of driving would be better than the controller.

If it's notchy when cold, change the trans fluid. That's what is causing that. You probably have a Synchromesh type fluid.

Paddles ftw. I would love that simply for the fact that it would mean I would be driving an Italian or Malaysian work of art, but I would really prefer to bang a shifter through it's gates. Speaking of shifting, what do you think about Hurst short shift kits ? I'm tempted to get one for the Jeep...boat rowing isn't my hobby. Do they have any parts that can wear fast ? I don't know about the Jeep kits. All I know about is Mustang kits. My dad is old school and uses only Hurst shifters. All his Mustangs have Hurst shifters. I've never had any issues with them and they improve the notchiness of a stock shifter, but there are other shifters for Mustangs I would choose first.

My "truck" has paddles...okay well they are buttons, but its close. I know, but if I had the money to buy something with paddle shifters it would be a 458 or an Aston.

Then I'd have even more I won't use. No way I'm putting them on a vehicle. I will soon be ordering something from you though.

Xcon 18 Sound Quality
Wow. FIrst off. THis is the equivalent of lining up a Top Fuel Funny car in a drag race against a horse drawn buggy. Seriously. Car Audio and Electronics is nothing but a bunch of idiots. I know several manufacturers who were offered better reviews if they advertised when they were still printing issues. And finally. . . . Seriously?

I have not had to shift since April. I liked it at first, but now I find myself wanting more control.

tore a ligament. I once tore all the ligaments in my left ankle. More painful than a break IMO.

Installation Questions for new system
Just fuse to whatever the manufacturer suggests. You're over complicating things.
