Corner loading driver.
Unfortunately, I don't have the room for them, nor the time to get that in-depth. The only way I could implement them would to be on a wall perpendicular to the viewing area.

Corner loading driver.
OKay, I want to corner load my IXL18 in the basement; vent and driver on the same plane firing into the corner. Is there a way to measure the optimum corner to load in? I'm worried about reflections and cancellation.

That's my concern, although, this will be the only color in this area of the vehicle. The rest is just your normal trunk carpet and nothing else.

amp help
See the smoked plexi in the middle? What does everyone think? Leave it? Replace it with a clear red? Replace it with clear and have JBL and Crown etched on either side and backlit red?

Welcome to the IHoP
Here's my day in a nutshell. Get into work, the manager tells me there's a toilet on the second floor that hasn't worked since Saturday. Go into the restroom, open the door, and immediately walk back out. Get my respirator, walk back in, open stall door, and look at what appears to be a toilet molded around a 5lb brick of shit. Close the restroom down, get suited up, grab a stick and poke the shit until it breaks. After 1 hours and 3 jackhammer tips later, said brick is finally in several hundred pieces. Grab 5 gallon bucket, evacuate shit pieces via bucket and return to restroom. Push the manual flush button and toilet will not flush. Bend poking tool to allow access into trap and breakup more of the shit brick. Evacuate the pieces again and perform another test flush. Still no flush. Fill bucket up with water in an attempt to force flush and toilet fills. Remove water, get snake, get about 2 feet past trap and snag something. Turn water off, remove bowl and peer into drain. See object blocking drain, get claw to pull it out and VOILA! what do we have here? ? ? A lovely first edition Hasbro HE MAN DOLL! ! ! Remove doll, throw in bucket, re-install bowl, return to service, flush and all is well. Removed hazardous waste, take he man doll to janitor room, rinse off in sink, place in lovely white Sears bag, remove Ty-Vek suit and respirator, commence with thorough washing. Go back to room and grab doll in sack and place in the front seat of coworker's car. Get home, shower, look at phone to see one missed call and voice mail. Listen to mail and it was from said co-worker who thanked me for the doll and was giving it to his nephew when he sees him later tonight. The poor kid has no idea. . .

Sean, you know, I was looking at the Menards flyer last week and they had PG ceiling speakers on sale. I know you probably ordered yours already, but I never even knew they carried them. Had good prices too.

This one guy posts that the best way to buy an amp is to look at the S/N ratio and only buy anything between 95-100 because anything less means cheap parts and noise.

I have been frequenting the Mustang forums more to try and help out in the audio section. It's like being at CA.com some times.

Well, you know. . .

GO YANKS! If the beginning of the season is any indication of the rest of the year, it's going to be insane. Sox and Yanks are both at the bottom of the division.

SSA teaser pics of 8" driver
I don't know how I missed this, but DAMN! I thought the point of smaller drivers was smaller imprints? This is like a poodle with a horse cock.

That's the main reason I went with the plasma. That and the detail richer on the plasma IMO. For the money I wanted to spend, it was the obvious choice. There are many LCDs out with an anti-glare coating on them. We have some at Sears they have this crazy contraption they set up to show you the difference. They're all rather expensive though.

Now THAT is a steal!

doing a job for a cheap ass
The Vegas are actually great drivers. Well, at least the red surround V-max drivers were. Another good cheap choice is the IT series. You can find them here for under $100. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/New-Cerwin-...sspagenameZWDVW I had a pair of these exact same drivers and they were some of the best 15s I've owned. Sound great in sealed enclosures and can get loud easily. They look great too. The photos really do them no justice.

Welcome to the IHoP
Sounds about like the price I paid for mine, but then I jacked it back up again by buying the 3yr warranty on it. Just went and got it. I actually was able to get a discount on the warranty too (it's nice when you work at the place). Total was $1249 after taxes and the 5 year warranty. I'll consider that good for a 50" plasma. Only 720P, but I'll never notice the difference (for $1Kmore).

Welcome to the IHoP
YAY! Got my money and just the next day Sears has my TV on sale. After my discount, I'll be paying $900. Can't beat that for a $1700 TV.
