It really will depend on the thickess of the material you are using and the number of curves. Long, flat panels will suck. Generally, I won't pull anything out unless I absolutely have to. I've had the passenger side rear door panel off with a pair of vise grips holding the window up since the day I got my TaurASS. Motor was bad, and anytime I'd accidentally touch the switch, it would blow the EEC fuse. That was a bitch to track down too.
