This was a personal purchase and outside of what you have been told (even by whomever you spoke with at Ike), they really are not liable for anything. Unless you have records, whether it be phone recordings, or some other form of written confirmation of everything you've claimed, you are screwed. Threats will get nowhere, and as far as the BBB is concerned, they are pretty much worthless. They can/will do nothing to help you get anywhere. Your best bet, to save you time and frustration would be to just chalk it up as a loss. A learning experience like this will teach you to be more cautios in futher dealings. There was a REASON the original purchaser did NOT want to deal with the return process. You should have understood this to be a warning sign.

3000+ watts and dual 15s is not exactly a sound quality setup. Great sound at insane volume levels is more like it. You have the appropriate building blocks.

1500 per driver, no prob assuming you can properly supply the voltage and current necessary to support this. Just make sure you are careful as you are way over the Mag's rating and burnt coils are NOT covered under warranty.

Keep in mind this is a NOMINAL measurement. The actual DC resistance can vary quite a bit. Being new, or not yet fully broken in can also cause the coil to not be fully at rest in the gap. This will read differently obviously. When I first got my Mag, it read 7.3 in series and 1.8 in paralell. Thought somehow I got dual 4 ohm coils, but after a little playtime, it settled down to 4.5 in series and .8 in parallel.
