  1. Matt is so badass!
  2. Get better Jack! How old is he Matt?
  3. Sunday it was sunny and 30s. Monday was super sunny and 50s. Tuesday 60s and raining all day. Yesterday was cold and windy as fuck with flurries and 20s. Today, cold and windy with single digit temps. Tomorrow highs in the 30s. Saturday high of 50 and sunny. Sunday highs in 40s and rain. Ride the weather rollercoaster.
  4. That's bullshit then. I am not a fan of dealers.
  5. Are YOU turning it in early or is there excessive wear? If so, that is how leasing works
  6. You want tig with a lens.
  7. That thing is SOOOOO clean!
  8. I just watched a Nova episode on the salvage of the Costa Concordia. Amazing engineering feat!
  9. Can't say I've ever seen modulating nozzles. Everything I've seen has modulated one burner with several nozzles. It's either low, medium, high fire, while some newer controllers and continuously variable. If you get into boilers, the options are almost limitless.
  10. Modulation is nothing new. Of course, all my experience is commercial, so I'm sure there are differences I don't see between that and home.
  11. Also, it is VERY difficult to find a professional that trust understands designing and applying a system properly. The vast majority of people will not invest the money or sacrifice space or aestetics in lieu of proper design so it's simply not something most pros are trained in.
  12. I would look into some type of split systems for that large an area. You require multiple zones and a way to control each one. On the other hand, if your ducting is sized and routed properly, they now make wifi-enabled register that are programmable and can be constantly and consistently be monitored and/or changed. Easiest and most efficient way to zone. Why fear modulating gas valves? They're quite simple and include safeties, so it's really a non-issue.
  13. Geothermal owns.
  14. I can't drink any longer. Even beer is just no longer good to me.
  15. That's VERY attractive! Will the chamber be removable to alter damping?
  16. It is here. I spend $1K on a fucking snowblower and it's snowed once since and melted the next day. Currently 47 and raining here. Supposed to be near 60 the next couple days.
  17. These are $2-250 bars. I could not fathom spending more than that, so I'll don't know to even think of a comparison. I have a small house, big TV, couch is up against the wall, and space is a premium. I was tired of hitting my speakers, wanted everything up off the floor, and my receiver gone. The soundbar was the only logical choice for me. If I had $700 to spend, it's an entirely different situation. Kind of applesto oranges, but hey, they're not completely shit.
  18. I FULLY disagree. I have an Audiosource bar under my plasma and it's FANTASTIC! It does Dolby perfectly, stereo is great, and has enough lowend to vibrate doors. It could benefit from a sub, but. . . I just purchased a Yamaha YAS-106 for my father and it's almost as good as my Audiosource with added lowend since it includes "built-in subwoofers." Now, neither are ideal for movies, but for a single source solution taking up very little space, they perform admirably. I was a skeptic before owning one, bit experience had proven positive.
  19. It's definitely NOT the closet door.
  20. I never bother with vision. I spend $100 year on exam and contacts. Unless you go to some expensive Opto or your family plan works out cheaper, I see no need. As for dental, it's usually so cheap there's no point in not having it. Of course, she should have no need for a dentist until around 2-3.
  21. I hate to say this, but if it had a small block, I'd be on my way to pick it up already.
  22. I don't know why, but this keeps calling me. http://racine.craigslist.org/cto/5901251581.html
