DAMMIT!
Cleaning a tile floor in a warehouse, 10 foot thick concrete subfloor. VHT tile when wet is slicker than any ice you could ever happen upon. Was scraping some junk off the floor, backed up onto the wet portion and BAM! Smack on my face. It was rather funny, but messed my dome up pretty good.

Pics of 15" install
Nice, clean, straight car. Ditch the wing though, or get a smaller one. PLEASE! I hate cars with big ol wings that serve no useful purpose.

Correct. Thank you!

Who's the best here?
Hey, would it be too much trouble to take those pieces and cut a little off the depth? A external depth of 12" would actually work better with my power requirements. If it's not too much trouble, I'd rather have this than the 15" If it's a hassle, don't bother. Thanks, and sorry!

Thank you sir. You can assemble. Hold off on shipping. I am trying to see if I can order and have it shipped to your location.

Sweet. I have the acrylic handled. I just need it cut. I will let you know when it gets ordered. Thanks! Oh, I need the inner dims of the box!

Wood glue please. It makes for a better chemical bond. As far as fasteners, I don't care. I assume the brads would be easiest, so if that's what you feel, go that route. The glue is the security, not the fastener. I think I have a payment in mind that you will find adequate. Thanks Kent!

Whatever is easiest for you. I figured it may be easier to just assemble it so you actually have a shipping "box." Unless you have an ingenious way to ship them in pieces. I am talking to a company now about the mirror. If you feel up to it, I will order it and have it shipped to your place.

Classic RF amp release
They were awesome amps back in the day, but the few I have messed with easily got HOT! I mean frying pan hot. I still love the old school though!

8" SoundSplinter future???
I've been hearing BAD things lately about TC since Ponte has gone. I hope this doesn't trickle down to SS. They seem like an awesome company that someday I will HAVE to buy into.

I'm ordering the mirror next week. All I will need is for you to cut it so I can glue it to the interior of the enclosure once it is constructed, unless of course you want to put the whole thing together. It may be easier to ship that way.

Classic RF amp release
It's spelled DESPITE. For some reason, I cannot get it to load. What's the info?

Comcast has been going haywire as well.

I am also going to be getting the mirror myself as well. Just figured it would be easier for you to cut there with the wood if at all possible. On another note, I may not be on for a while as I'm feeling quite ill today, so if you don't hear back from me, pray that I'm dead. Cuz that's how I feel.

I will order the acrylic and have it shipped to you if you want. If not, I will just get it and have it cut here. You don't have to worry about that. As far as the capping goes, I guess it's my turn to play dumb as I do not fully understand what you are saying. The mirror will simply be place within the enclosures interior covering all bare wood. It will look as if the enclosure is actually made of mirror on the inside. If by capping you mean butting all joints end to end, then yes.

Barrett Jackson Auto Auction
I'm close to Auburn, so we go to the Auburn auction every year. It's amazing to see vehicles of that caliber and the prices they go for. The exotics are obscenely overpriced, but I only say that because I cannot afford them, yet I see SO MANY classics thatare basically stolen from their owners. I know the Barrett Jackson is a bit higher scale but it's all amazing none-the-less.

Okay, the dims I gave you were for the actual MDF which will make up the 5 enclosure wall excluding the baffle. The baffle will be made with 1" CLEAR acrylic, which I will have pre-cut for the enclosure and driver. The other MIRROR acrylic that comes into play will be lining the inside of the enclosure. Here you see where I run into a problem again with my table saw in disarray. I absolutely NEED the precision cuts it can offer versus the circular saw/guide combo. Get it now? As far as the wood goes, if need be, I CAN order it and have it shipped to you. Not a big deal. I wasn't aware the availability of 1" mdf was so scarce. Either way, we can keep each other informed and get this done before I leave for SC. I have a ton of projects on the horizon and the unfortunate part about this is have to rely on others to do what I normally do myself. Good part about that is, I know I'm getting my money's worth and I have awesome people helping me, so a big to you!

Mirrored Emblems on the SS
That's why I said I like the whole monochrome idea. A slick black rocket!
