  1. I can see damage to the speaker also. So figure out what caused it before you try to repair it. It looks like it was hitting something.
  2. I would not listen to some members in this thread...As they have no experience with very few products except what they google.. Even though they may have thousand's of shit post Via 'searched' on the web' with no real experience "except what he or she said" I would love to see the products this looser has! not pointing any fingers but jay-cee you are a bitch! and only post on other people's experience..lol seriously? this post annoyed the shit out me. jay-cee is quite knowledgeable/helpful and you have no right to be insulting him in anyway. I posted earlier in the thread that there was a sale going on if you went to the Fi.com website.
  3. Try following the rules of the classified section. Then you wouldn't have to play it safe.

Look on their website and it shows they have been on sale.
  5. X2^^^ Two are louder then one.
  6. Go to fi audio.com and look at their website. I think a sale is going on right now.
  7. Did you check out the Zcon In the same price range... There are more questions that need to bee answered. Like what are your goals? How much power do you want to run? A 15 sub has more cone area then a 12" sub so it would be louder in a proper box. Lights dimming could be caused by several problems some of which you can't solve without bigger wiring or a second battery or both. You can pm me to talk more. Is that 400 to 500 for amp and sub, plus what about your front stage?
  8. How about you don't put your ass in the sink. WTF?Whats wrong with that? Surley nobody drinks out of it. And besides it was the only way I could get relief at the moment..Hey you gotta do what you gotta do right? You didn't have to eat the peppers !
  9. I think what he wants is a louder front stage with sound quality. You need to give us as to what you want.
  10. If your stock alternator can't keep up you need more then one battery. Just my opinion. Need more info about your alternators output in amps.
  11. Happy Birthday !
  12. I've seen them get pretty close. I don't even know if I'll hit it, but I'm gonna try. That has to take a lot of money to do that?
  13. Can a vehicle take those db's? I thought my 148.6 was loud.
  14. I agree with that because I have one and it has been a great amp so far.
  15. Sounds like you have some very educated people helping you !
  16. I wish you had a amp you could wire down to one ohm. Then you could hear if it would make the Alpines louder. What have you done to upgrade the electrical going to the amp? Wire size, big three, grounding?
  17. Also welcome to the ssa forum. There is somebody that can help you better.
  18. There are people on this forum that could help better, but it's a bad time of the year. There are so many people gone right now.
  19. Any body out there have some input on this issue?
  20. What I am saying is the box you have will determine which sub will be louder. But probably not what you could hear. Try downloading Winisd to model subs in your box. The box is more important then increasing power. Or maybe someone on the forum can do it for you. I can't.
  21. A larger sub on the same power would gain you more then adding more power. But the box size might need to be changed.
  22. Yes. That is my goal. It gets loud but not as loud as I would like. I'm not running my amp at its full potential so I need 2 2ohm dvc sub's to do that. Not interested in competing just a daily setup. The 250 watts rms would not make a audible difference that you could hear.I am aware of that I just wanted some recommendation for some sub's that are better than type r without spending a fortune . wouldn't getting 2 quality sub's that are rated for a 2400 watt load be louder than my current 1500 watt setup? To the human ear probably no. Modeling the subs for that box would tell you more.
