The Sears website has 20% off Die Hard batteries right now, but for some reason the Platinum car batteries aren't included..... go figure. Have you tried batteries plus. They have Odessey batteries made by the same people as sears.

It says it will do it. How reliable will it be. I can't answer that because I have never done it.

They give specs at higher voltages. It says it was tested at 14.4 not on higher voltages. It's just capable of 18.5 but for how long?

There are to many variables to give you a good answer.

The kaotik box meets the dcon specs. They went in my nephews trunk.

Would this be a good choice for a daily driver? I listen to mostly rock music. I know there are better choices but this is in my budget range.

Looks good to me, but everyone has their way of doing things. I think you would be fine doing it your way.

Have you tried Sears for a group 34 agm battery?

I think he is worried about mixing battery types. Or the power needed. Use what you have.

My bad....it's an Autocraft Gold from Advance Auto. Only thing they list as having now is the silver. They don't show their platinum series. Those are agm.

Does say gcon must be yours then. That dcon & box look good.

I wouldn't buy a pre made box they aren't tuned for that sub. Build one or have somebody design and build it for you.

This kaotik box ended up with a dcon S4. PPI 650 amp. Installed in a chevy cobalt.

The best would be in the middle. But with one sub you can't do that. Build the port to the passanger side I think that would sound better. But I am no expert.

The front stage wasn't meant to have bass. Maybe some mid bass but not what a sub woofer can do. Just find the best set of component speakers you like. They will produce what bass they can. Go listen to some at comps. at your local audio stores.
