Yea ha, your looking at a lot of voltage drop at fult tilt and probably some at normal listening volumes.

Go with the IA comps, they are a steal at that price along with topnotch quality. I seriously doubt you'll be dissapointed. You don't have to power them all the way to get them to get loud or sound good. Especially since you were running off headunit power

Well I think it's just the sub using the dustcap sorta as a heat sink because it stays a constant temp the whole time, so I guess that's normal because of the motor design. But man this thing slams!!!!!

Well I've had the sub for a few weeks now, it's on a crescendo bc2000d. I've noticed after about 2min I can reach back and feel the dust cap and it's pretty warm, if I keep playing like it like that it just stays that temp and I never smell coil... What I'm wondering is, is there a certain temp the coil runs at with the new motor? Is it still breaking in causing it to be a little hotter? Help me out y'all, I don't won't to melt this beast haha

Yea I got 1 on it for now might go to 2 around christmas for comps strapped at 1 ohm the for daily rewire to 4 ohm strapped, but yea she does awesome and gets loud as balls!!!!

Hey y'all, I received my DP 21 yesterday!!! Wow!!!!!! Is all I can say, but there is a little problem. The motor top plate and bottom plate is chrome. I thought it was supposed to be black nickel. And I have chips of 3 of the magnets. Is that ok? I hope it won't effect anything. Just let me know! Thanks
