  1. Ah, Tuvok. Happy Birthday man!
  2. Well, if it was the Saskatchewan River you threw them into, I'll wait for them at Lake Winnipeg. They should make it in good time provided they don't get weighed down by the sludge.
  3. Happy Birthday! Who's Brandon?
  4. You should post this stuff on CCA Dennis - see what kind of <bashing> responses you get..

    B-Quiet is another alternative..
  6. Time will tell. I'm moving ahead with a few things right now, so don't fully discount it. Of course, if I had a massive influx of funding from nowhere, things could progress much, much quicker...
  7. Well, you will just have to buy more...
  8. Ha! Good luck at trying to get schematics from Orion. Getting blood from a stone would be easier...
  9. Yes, I'm afraid so. The MAW-10, 12 and 15 will be no more. The line has been available for more than two years. Time for bigger and better things. Best, Mark
  10. Yes, I'm referring to the older Orion 2500d - the chrome one. I haven't looked at the amp lately, but I recall seeing the power terminals were definitely not capable of accepting 4 gauge wire... Looks like I'm going to the store for more airplane cable...
  11. I'm referring to the 2500d, which normally goes for ~$450. A bit much considering its age...
  12. Haven't used them yet, but from what I understand, they are good performers. Not sure if they are worth what folks on the forums are selling them for though...
  13. Orion 8004. Looks like I'm not finished yet either. I have two 2500d's that need installing, and from the look of them, they have similar cheesy connectors...
  14. Ok, I'm going to make this short.... Who in their right mind would design an amplifier capable of producing upwards of 1000 watts of output, but supplies the cheesiest little friggin power connectors to run it?! I just spent hours trying to figure out how to connect 4 gauge wire to a set of crappy little power connectors that could only accept 10 gauge at most. I finally ended up using a piece of airplane cable and cable sleeve to "step the wire down" to an appropriate diameter. I was to two different "car audio shops" here in the city and explained my dilemma. All I got was a sorry, can't help you. What do you guys do when faced with this situation?
  15. It was the remote turn-on. You tipped me off on the line name, so I looked it up on Google images.
  16. Found the answer. Gotta love Google!
  17. You're right, it is - Rev 1 if that makes any difference. The online manuals I've come across have a totally different setup from this one. m
  18. Hi guys, I have an older Orion 8004 (circa 2003) that has a rather odd wiring setup. I'm not sure, but I think the remote turn-on power is the connector on the far left - with the one bank of speaker connectors. Notice the power connectors on the other side. Can someone please confirm this for me? Thanks, Mark
  19. Indeed. Don't give up on what you have until you've looked over all options. Try them ported to see what they can do for you. If they still suck, then look onward...
  20. They will be shipping (to me) at the end of April. It would be a plus if they left earlier - I will keep you posted. Best, Mark
  21. They are being manufactured as I type this...
