  1. I try to stay on top of things If you really want a great deal on a 1500D the db-R refurbs are a great option - all of the ones he has right now are darn near mint condition physically too.
  2. how far in the future would you figure ? if you even did. thanks In other words, I currently do not have plans to do another sale on the 1500D - being that I have no plans I cannot tell you anything more than that.
  3. Sounds like a plan
  4. You are getting the SAX-100.4C which is the latest one out right now. It has some updates from the last amps you received. The SAX-100.4D, which this thread is about, won't be out until the end of the year.
  5. Most likely not - at least not in the near future.
  6. If you don't already have your subs - run it at 1 ohm.
  7. I reported it to e-bay... it against the terms of "Keyword Spamming" - it is not a real Sundown amp so it should not have Sundown in the description.
  8. Is that the name of the guy @ Robot Underground ?
  9. You won't get anywhere NEAR 3kW on each 1500D. Not even on 17v I think he means per woofer he'll have over 3k.
  10. No, it's not. He better not make a habit of claiming to be selling my products under false pretense either.
  11. A fan cooled amp rack is never a bad idea. Build around the amp and make it pretty well enclosed - put an intake fan on one side of the amp and an exhaust fan on the other side to force the direction of flow across the amp.

    Great! Hope you like it
  13. *laughs* Yes, if the motor is made @ this size I will call for motor bracing in the instructions. Have also worked out some pretty solid shipping methods for future runs of woofers with a little expert advice. Should be able to get them to customers intact.
  14. when the final product hits the streets I bet it dosent look anything like that proto knowing you Yah, you are probably right
  15. I've never seen a Cactus MKII motor so any resemblance is coincidental.
  16. If you buy 4+ I will give a good deal.
  17. Careful - I've had a customer in the USA destroy several Solo-X 18s with a pair of 3000s
  18. The 1000D is a strong little amp
  19. Thats a pretty cool amp rack, I must say. If anything... add an 80 mm fan, blowing out, below each amp.
  20. I also want to make it known again that this is the first prototype of the driver that will be "one level" above the Nightshade - plenty of testing is needed and it may or may not fit the bill for what I want it to do. I do plan to keep everyone posted on the progress, though I am optimistic about it - we'll see!
  21. There aren't any yet
  22. It won't work without being magnetized... there is no magnetism to move the coil!
