  1. DD Carbon Fiber Dust-Cap added to the Nightshade w/ pic! Now it looks pretty
  2. Very nice placement! Congrats
  3. Sounds like fun stuff
  4. I would say 1000 - 1500 continuous and quite a bit on burps... stiff spider and a flatwind coil very similar to the MT.
  5. No idea at all *laughs* Nice flat-wind coil... probably 20 - 22 mm of linear x-max or so. Stiff suspension so mechanical power handling is good too. Other than that, I got nothing on them! If I had to guess I'd say moderate to high-ish Qts with low 30s Fs or so...

Two Qs on a 1500D will sound good.
  7. It is the motor from the first revision X10 re-coned into an 18" woofer by David @ RE. Has a nice flat-wind coil and all that good stuff. It's not made by SJA so doesn't have any relation to RD or Atomic. It does have gap venting, so I could see why you might say that
  8. Could be thousands of different shapes... but lets just say you could do 9 x 9 x 4 " That is, if the sub will fit in 4" depth *laughs* Final depth is pending final basket selection. Chances are if you are running just one, sealed, you will have to make a slightly larger box just to get the woofer in it Pretty small box. Indeed, it will essentially go in any box you can fit it in. So it'll be great for tight areas.
  9. You can try whatever you want But yah, I'd say send it in to me as soon as you can.
  10. Nice Dang, did they scratch the back plate?

  12. I'm waiting for the 18s... I'll be able to say how the do vs. MTs and DD 9500Gs in my setup Have the MTs now and will try out the 9500Gs in the meantime!
  13. If you can't get it working send it to me and I'll take a look, you do have a warranty on it after all
  14. FETs are the square things with 3 legs on them along the heatsink.
  15. I like those cooling vents Nick!
  16. Easy solution would be to peer inside and look to see if the power supply FETs are burnt. Originally that one was pretty much DOA (the only 100.2 to date to be so) and popped one bank of FETs due to a short between two wires. Anyhow, pop the bottom cover and look around and LMK.

Call up Scottie at Powermaster, tell him that you are on Team Sundown and that he can verify that with me
  18. Mike, Check first to see if the actual voltage at the amp terminals is good, if that is good and the remote voltage is good something may be wrong with it. I believe that is the refurbished 100.2 you got from me? Perhaps something else was wrong that did not show up in my testing, just let me know.
  19. ~1800 - 2000 watts or so, perhaps more depending on your reactive load.
  20. Haven't even thought about a tweeter yet But we'll see later on.

http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...?showtopic=7116 With one battery, stock alt (about the same as the Civic in output), 1510 watts @ 12.4 volts. With another battery, stock alt, 1635 watts @ 12.8 volts. So... between 1500 and 1600 watts or so, give or take a few percentage --- This battery fits in the newer Civic (this is mine). Only have to notch the battery tie-down, literally, that is ALL you need to do:
  22. How is your crossover, gain, and subsonic set ?
  23. *laughs* Give up the pics!
