  1. Sorry, thats why I started the thread even though I pm'ed you, they take 3" coils, I dont know about the gap though, they are DD 9500G knock offs. Jacob from Sundown reconed his with RE parts from teampsi. I got a quote for parts from teampsi but I still need baskets and such. I figured, if I am going to buy baskets from FI I may as well see how much a recone kit will be.
  2. I just bought a brand new Konaki 12", I plan to recone it down to a 10" and run a pair daily off my kx2500.1, I would like to get a shipped quote to 26851 for a 10" DVC 2 ohm kit, I would also need a 10" basket and rubber gasket and FI dust cap, I know they are included but I would like to get one with the FI logo on it. I plan to run 1200 watts to each Konaki 10" once I get them reconed, I dont know what coils or kit Scott or FI would use but I need/want something that will take 1200 watts rms, and be good for a daily type install. I tried pm'ing Scott but his box is full, pm sent to NDmustang
  3. umm, sorry for the OT response, but..... that girl in your sig..... she has a really nice butt!
  4. Hey, thanks phil for responding , but, why are they not screwed down? most other subs I had were bolted down and glued. I really dont understand why a bolt is there if it was not bolted down in the first place. I am thinking that the terminal must have been 2 pieces. One piece was bolted down, then the other piece was glued to the bolted down piece of black plastic. So, maybe one of the pieces broke and now I am here
  5. I broke my terminal loose pulling the sub out of its box, I tried crazy gluing it back but that aint working, My question is, whats the bolt for on the terminal, the terminal is not screwed on, it looks as if it was just glued on over top of the screw instead of screwed down. Now, I cant get the terminal flush with the screw head to even glue it down properly, what would you guys suggest? Right now, the terminal is just flopping around, I know that cant be good
  6. Yup, my BL 10" pads are peeling as well, and I can hear some kind of noise, its not led slap but some kind of noise? I wonder if it is the pads?? What kind of glue could we use Scott?
  7. I dont have a Q, but I do have a BL 10", it fills my whole car with low bass off 1200 to 1500 watts rms, it sounds like or better than some 12" subs I have had in the past. I would do a single ported sub vs 2 sealed, unles the 2 sealed were 15's, even then, I dont like the sound of sealed so I probably would still do a single ported sub,.
  8. Guys, I have one BL 10" with no options on it, powered from a Kicker Kx2500.1 at 4 ohms, this thing is L O U D and it sounds good as well. I am SURE 3 BL 10's will be VERY loud!
  9. $150 shipped for 2 10's is insane , Scott, could you post pics of the 10? Or is that the 10?
  10. I am using a Kicker Kx 2500.1 , have not got my second BL yet though
  11. I broke one of the terminals on my BL 10" yesterday when I was pulling it out of its box. The tinsels are fine and the sub is still working perfectly. But the terminal is moving up and down! I am thinking it is going to start vibrating once it gets moving! I dont know how Fi had it secured, I am thinking it was glued down, if so, what kind of glue should I use to reglue it?
  12. Thank you so much Nick!
  13. Thanks Nick , were you able to figure out a shipped quote to me?
  14. Thanks for responding Nick , I think I may just need a complete recone at this point, I started a thread about that as well.
  15. Run it at .5 and just dont get stupid with the volume knob, you will be fine
  16. He is on Car Audio Junkyard often, he is a mod over there, seen him on today as a matter of fact.
  17. I just bought a 12" Brahma MKII, its working but has had the tinsels resoldered after they broke. I was going to attempt to repair the tinsel leads and run with it like that, but, the guy I bought it from originaly said it was a 10" , now he says its a 12" , so I want to go ahead and recone it down to a 10". So, I want to go ahead and place an order for a 10" recone kit with 10" basket and gasket shipped to 26851. Just wanted to post this here before I send any emails.
  18. Tinsel leads, Fi are you there?
  19. I dont know what the SAE puts out at 12.5 volts, but I know the 9.1 does its max rms at 12.5, with that said, its power hungry as hell! I had some dimming when I had my 9.1 in the car, I upgraded to a kx 2500.1 and the dimming is gone???? Power hungry 9.1 FTL, its still a solid amp though!
  20. Mike, what choo got?
  21. Like I said, make me happy pm me!
  22. PM me and make me happy!
  23. Nick , could you quote me a price with return shipping from FI and for the full recone kit with basket and gasket included please?
