Don't hook it to your reciever if is old the reciever has a chance to fry it since its a 4ohm load on it

...i would so go with ssa xcons really musical and get down low!! they sound fantastic with rock. also i have some obsidian audio 18's on the way using them for home audio. ill post input later on the drivers once they arrived....pre order suck's!!

I would get the alternator checked. If the alt's fine and the battery is new i would bet its the belt is sliping. Is it a slowly going down voltage or like go from 13.6 and drops to 12.5 really fast?... What we all are trying to say is in a Technicians terms "Troubleshoot" limit the possibilities of all the problems that can occur. I have a major belt problem on my wagon still a ongoing problem :(/>((((

its....crazy how the prices of crescendo have sky rocketed up...when they first came out was 350shipped for a crescendo bc2000 and 600shipped for a 3500....insane!!!
what about the guy that has "WTT zcon 12's" i mean..cash is a currency.
both the subs are dual 1ohm...so either one big amp at 1ohm. Or two separate amps at .5ohm. Now remeber spare69 listens to rock his goal is to get a good bit of punch out of the bl's so he's trying to get the most power possible for his listening goals which is LOUD HARD ROCK!
