I didn't say it wasn't a good sub. They just have EXTRA weak cones, to make people buy there composite cones. Plus, DD choose not to "upgrade" there own stuff. Jake likes to each person to have a sub to fit there install than one, you hafta fit your install around.

imho it will be a no contest...i dont know any dd9500 subs that can take 6k daily...and on top of that...theres still certian things he can do to the sub to make it louder ...like develope another coolin option ..taking some of the coil out of the gap...making the moving mass lighter ...and a bunch of other stuff.. 80 Plus the stock DD cone will break with any kind of power.
