  1. 00 Honda Accord 2 door. Custom tweet mounts. Haven't heard any Home audio either.
  2. I wouldnt worry bout it.
  3. Any new word Troy? Maybe, I can finally get a demo, when you get everything done.
  4. Don't go over 4cuft. IMO. It would just hurt the sub more than it would do good. 4cuft tuned to 30hz, with 70sqin of port. They are low machines.
  5. Its ok. Maybe, we both can get help.
  6. Yes. That was a thread jack. Under a grand covers EVERYTHANG. besides sub/amp. This is frontstage only. Mounted in doors. Tweet on Apiller. Amp=Sundown SAX 100.4 Peekaz= need help. Tweetz= need help. Small format tho. Deadner=Rammat. H/U=need help. I dont really know my listening perferences. I havent heard a true SQ setup before. I know I like semi bright highs. And alotta of midbass. I was looking at teh Pioneer 720prs, to run active. I dont think teh tweeters are for me tho. So this brings me back to start from scratch.
  7. When I was talking about cutting, it isn't nothing major. When you take the backseats out, youll see exactly what I cut. Its 1inch by 30inchs. IMO, you'll never notice it was there, after the cut. But, Like I stated before, sub back port side, was loudest on the meter, and sub forward port side was loudest to ear. This was with 1 12 Q and Sundown SAZ1500d.
  8. If your using a pair, I would go with SSDs. Single sub, fully loaded Q. or BL. Sundown at 1ohm gave my stock Q hell. Almost perfect for a BL at 1ohm. IMO. Scott, I havent talked you in a good while. Im just wondering if a new tinsel system going to show up? Not saying what you have now don't work well. Its just not "retard" proof. Playing under tuning with no subsonic filter, or one not set up right. Does real damage on them. Im sure you already knew this.
  9. x2. Gain setting is suppose to be matching h/u preout voltage to amp.
  10. Basicly, Im starting from scratch. Active. I need some good info on which speakers I may need. It will be a 2way. With 6.5/7s and small format tweets. I need a "good" h/u that can go active. Im sorta on a budget, not a tight one, but not anything OVER 1 grand. Cheaper teh better. Lets see what we come up with.
  11. Didn't teh new shipment come with a little different crossovers?
  12. Can I see pics of the tinsels?
  13. the jeep is still in the lanes, not sure on the subs, they've probably upgraded to the 99Z's I know they took teh Jeep to finals last year, with 99z and a ass load of z2s. I hear they have a volvo now. And it does 170s.
  14. I cut teh top of teh opening where teh backseats come out at. I could fit 14in tall 31wide. I also used 2 4in aero ports. I did 14x16.5x31 i think and 2 4in ports 27in long. Thats around 2.5cuft tuned to 30hz.
  15. sub back/front port side. only way in a Mustang. Had one, tested it. Also, teh lower I tuned it, 35hz to 32hz to 30hz, made big difference to ear.
  16. Teh team was suppose to be for people competing.
  17. What all can u recone?
  18. That looks very cool. Cant wait to see some build pics.
  19. If your thinking bout it, you better do it fast. Id say ~2 weeks before they arrive.
  20. This is what Im thinking. Get a stepdown and a 12 volt battery for under teh h00d, and a 16volt bank in teh back. Heck, you could run your starter off 16 volts... maybe. Also, if you have MSD box, they work VERY well off 16 volts.
