  4. ya the new mag is really a good looking sub cant wait to see this thing in action..
  5. ya at first i was skeptical about this ss stuff but when i saw the videos i gotta say man my jaw dropped in the difference in sound it gets expensive i mean i wont sugar coat that 1 bit..but hell its so worth it man..you know we spend thousands on dollars on subs and amps that hit hard, loud, low, clear but we spend nothing at all on the cabin..lol and it ends up sounding like we got someone trapped inside banging trying to get out...so to me its worth every penny..
  6. whats fegli?
  7. if your just looking to do the fronts look into the JL Audio C5-570 they can be had for $330 or the boston pro60's for $250 if you want to do both front and back for that budget i like the infinitys, and jbls

  11. hey guys the more i look at this lil thing the more i feel i want it..so i was wondering for component use..how does this speaker sound? also i was thinking of paring them with some tweeters and maybe a 4'' driver to make my own 3 ways sets..would this not be a good idea sound wise? 13. most of there good stuff is out of stock for now..
  14. i was looking at those alarms that come with a camera and you can get a live shot of your car/truck depending on which angle you put the camera..not sure if that alarm has all its money invested in the camera gimmick..and nothing in the alarm itself..
  15. bottom
  16. happy boiday
  17. welcome to the site princess, i also suggest contacting fi they do sell recone kits..also i think they have a service where you can send in your sub and they can recone it but do charge a bit for shipping..here is there link send them a email [email protected]
  18. its really hard to say for ezact, but i contacted ant the owner of SS to see what he would say and he said to around 300 sq ft would do for my truck which is a gmc denali...what i plan on doing is doing the whole back part the roof, the hatch, the sides all 2 layers since thats where the heavy rattling will be and then my doors im doing 1 layer..it can get really expensive but so damn worth it..click the link in my sig about ss and scroll down to see the vids you wont believe your ears..lol
  19. well unlike best buy and other box shops, Most audio shops charge by the hour. Install costs are normally the most expensive part of any custom project. I'm not against sound deadening, but in all of the escalade builds I have seen it is very minimal due to the efforts cadilac put into reducing road noise. one thing I forgot to mention, most audio shops offer a discount on the labor rate if you bought the equipment from them. back about 5 years ago i had a 1999 denali and in it they installed 4 jl audio w7's,5 autotek amps,2 sets of component speakers, flip out head unit, flip down tv,all around dynamat, alarm,, and highout alt, and box, and charged me $2000 for the install..and they had my truck for 2 weeks..only because it took forever for ohio generators to send my alt..we waited about 8 days for it..
  20. well if he chooses to only do fronts id go with boston pro60's for about $250
  21. well we have gone over this you only do the front and i choose to do the whole truck..and whats wrong with 2 15's for sq? let me guess your going to come with a whole diy setup for the guy..lol
  22. what my point is this..i know there are budgets set, but whats the point of setting a budget that may not please you with what you get? so instead of just buying what you can afford spend a couple extra hundered dollars and make sure you get the right stuff the first time around..i think install for that equipment shouldnt go higher then $1700
